How do you manage to come out with these posts everyday? These proses of perfection.
And yes, shravan needs to understand that he is equally egoistic. Also, they are very different from preekar and so is their bond. There is no comparison because they're two different ends of the spectrum.

I agree with you completely. He has been devoid of the kind of love he deserves and sumo can give him so he doesnt know how to deal with it.

After all he's been through, its perfectly normal to linger so much before making decisions or acting hastily.

Happiness is a subjective concept. And this guy's concept of happiness is so simple yet unknown to him. He wants all that he has lost and he thinks su.o can give him that. She can. But he has felt the loss of a mother. No matter how much sumo loves him, she will never be able to fulfill that loss.
Sumo has shown him that he matters most to her. But he still doubts her loyalties. This is unnerving to me :/

When he realized that she gave up her love to protect her family from.breaking, he'll realize that she is the exact opposite of what her father put her out to be.

wonderful post mittu
still i feel this is ott 😆 i mean shravan's behaviour
i understand from where this is coming from
but still he should start thinking or recollecting the thongs sumo did for him and his dad's sayings
he should analyse

This is natural human behaviour I guess. Whenever we are angry at someone, we tend to forget all the positive things and memories about them. Only the negative remains in our head. That's why the feeling of hurt and sorrow stays longer than happiness.

HAHA as much as i loved how sumo is being rude to adi and sayings abt Sharvan that S is for the person she loves the most.. we all know who he is but as sharvan is listening she will say its her and her self respect and sharvan belives her kamal hai get ur oxford degree validated man... i am tired of them fighting all the time... the epi was good but didnt find it intersting as story is not moving at all.. pata nahin whats going to happen.. I liked Nanu-sumo-sharvan.. but sharvan is still stuck abt self respect... i seriously hope this mess starts clearing then creating more mess...

Again an awesome post on understanding Shravan!
Mithali just loved it...

Yes I agree with SHravan being vulnerable, the main reason is his brought up, away from family and all alone... so he is what he is today, And has seen only his dad everytime he wanted emotional support.

ANd he has inherited everything from his dad, and we all know his dad! don't we? so obviously he speaks his dad's mind! Sohe is always confused in understanding his own love!

Yes! I do agree with you that it is not only Sumo who is egoistic, It's also Shravan who is equally egoistic! Otherwise why is his love track not moved further?

Mithu, I agree with you, on both the questions you asked.

We sometimes believe things blindly because that is what is always happening or followed in our family, sometimes in spite of knowing that it is wrong.

That's why I said he speaks his dad's mind. He i s fed with such things (regarding his mother) that he thinks anyone like his mother are wrong!

Mithu 🤗

Love ur post I know sharvan mind is bcz of what u said but idon't it high time now? 111 episodes and still not going any where. He listens to everyone but trying to get sumo mind.. He need someone to tell him? He already remebers her fight and argument never thought that she is always there when he needs her. The hug scene has imp the words she said he doesn't remember. I was hoping cvs will start closing ends but Nahin it's getting more and more complicated. I know Niki was hospitalized so that can be the drag but it has been months now. With Nanu health going down don't know where it's heading heading towards Sharman marriage may be they she will prove how she is not nirmala don't know I seriously give up where it's heading

Lovely analysis mitali!!! Past month has been sheer torture but for your analysis. I wish the episode were half as good as your analysis.that would have made our lives easier. I just read the wien update and decided not to going to watch the episode. I can't see Shravan going back to square 1. He takes 2 steps forward and 4 steps backward. He is totally messed up.its though to accept this. Shravan is a flawed character and that makes him real. This is what we as audience need to understand. We have always been fed with shows where the leafs are always right and perfect. Shravan with all his goodness and love has his flaws and we need to accept him that way. I have made peace with that. So shravan doesn't irritate me any more. 😆

Beautiful post and so well analysed!

Shravan is a complicated and introverted soul who has been let down by 2 people he loved the most (along with his dad) when he was 16. He grew up away as a product of a broken home, in the absence of healthy inter-familial relationships to nurture him and his trust in other human beings.

Obviously this would have impacted whatever relationships he had in London. While he is sharp in his work (those Oxford worthy brains do get put to good use at work) the same sharpness and insight seems to disappear in his personal relationships. A good human being he is and a softie at heart but emotionally stunted, a loner who seeks love but doesn't know how to attain it or hold on to it.

The lack of any sort of family bond has obviously resulted in him lacking emotional maturity to handle and nurture relationships or even trust anyone other than papa who has obviously coloured his thoughts black on relationships& women. He's quite the cynic to the core due to this and egoistical to boot.

It is for the above reasons that his sharpness & reasonableness seem to desert him when he's dealing with sumo- he has no sound foundation in his own family relationships to base his trust on Suman though he may intermittently pay lip service to the fact that he trusts her. Suman being Suman doesn't help her own case and her behaviour and self-respect jaap has only re-inforced to a certain degree The belief his chauvinistic father holds of independent working women.

The only way that foundation for their trust and love to grow unconditionally is for nirmalas truth to come out since he is still stuck in the ghosts of his past to think rationally about Suman or a future for them together & papa doesn't in any way help the cause. He will continue to vacillate without any clarity in his thoughts till then and blow hot& cold alternatively with Suman never really trusting her.

Though somewhere all said and done, he should being the sensitive soul that he is, have been able to identify that sumans behaviour has become weird overnight (after the coffee shop date) when she convinces him about her trust in him and that something huge is amiss rather than playing on like a broken record of how she stood him up or brooding away and talk it out with her.

Fantastic post as usual 👍🏼
Today I thought there is nothing to analyse but u proved me wrong 😊
Agree with you !!
I am not angry with shravan. His behaviour is justified coz as u have said we believe things we are taught in our family . He has grown up knowing woman are selfish , egoistic and manipulative . But dont your beliefs change with time. This is not the generation who blindly believes on everything. I agree sumo behaves weirdly at times n right now she is at her weirdest behaviour . He feels she is egoistic as she keeps on chanting her self respect mantra but why cant he recall the sumo who stood by his side during ramnath's accident track, who lied to ramnath n made shravan hero infront of his father during khosla track, the girl who was ready to give her life to gain his trust, the girl who came runnning to find him in the middle of the night or these incidents aint enough to prove she is worthy of his love , his trust ?? For once in his life if he uses his brain he will see the helpless looks she gives . I believe when you are in love you know what the other one feels. Why cant he see through her?? Sumo puts her family before her own happiness and shravan doesnt need the proof of that, he knows . So if she can manage her family so well before marriage why not later?? How does ego come between this?? Shravan needs to understand this fact that ego and self respect are two different things. And as u said preekar are way different than shraman, the sooner he realizes the better.
