I don't have a problem with Shravan's thought process. There are too many things confusing him...Poor thing. So sweet of him to get down and talk to someone about it❤️, even though he had already passed the judgement...😆

I agree with you Mittu what we are taught and what we observe people around us in daily life or family we think in that way only.
For gaining Shravan trust first thing is Shravan should know about Nirmala's truth and situation as for Shravan the two ladies of his life his mom and bestfriend sumo they both left him when he needed them badly and the reason was their self respect or selfish reasons(Shravan POV)
The image of Sumo and Nirmala is same for Shravan and to trust Suman its very necessary that the lie i.e. accusation that his mother left him for her own selfish reason needs to be cleared .

Shravan's beliefs, the way he reacts stems from his personal experience.. The truth which he has been made to believe all his life. Obviously he judges by that belief.. But there are moments where he lets his heart rule.. That's when the real Shravan emerges.. The man I love, maybe we all do. He is man deprived of love since a long time, he is man made to mis trust certain women n hence his behavior..

I know he should trust hus own judgement n make his own decisions without the influence of external factors.. But your judgement is based on the beliefs inculcated in you since childhood.. And here lies the issue with this beautiful man..

A wonderful post, Mitali...

Shravan Malhotra is a man whose past dictates him and thus his emotions are deep, strong and complicated..His prime expectation from a relationship would always be wanting it to last long as he has been a witness to a marriage break into pieces like a glass and on top of that he is only aware of one side of the story...To him a successful relationship is one which his Chacha-Chachi, Varun-Vandy and now Pushkar-Preeti share...

Ramnath's words and Suman's absurd constant blows has made him equate his relationship with her to that of his parents and thus he always ends up looking for red flags that could potentially cause a disaster..To him his mother is the culprit and thus somewhere deep down he believes it is not him that will mess up when it comes to relationships, it might be Suman who'll commit the same mistakes just like her mother did...

Self-respect is a positive spin and ego is a negative spin to the same trait..In addition, many say both are subjective and conditional i.e depend on circumstances... just like personal perceptions...That is why Shravan ends up blaming Suman's ego for all the mess lately...

I disliked the fact that he did not even ponder about the hug and how worried Suman was for him :( :( It is like raat gayi baat gayi 😕
