Jai Shri Krishna

Bh senses some movements outside the chamber, he says probably it's time for Lakshagraha, the should leave immediately. Yd agrees, tells Nk, Sa to go ahead with Kunti. One by one they all enter the tunnel, walk through it & comes out from the other end, where the chief miner was waiting for them. They all see the burning Lakshagraha. Miner tells them it is not safe to be here, a boat is waiting for them, they should leave immediately.

Outside Lakshagraha other people are trying to stop the fire by pouring water on it. One of them says everything is burnt, no one is saved. Purochana is standing there has a cunning smile on his face.

Pandavas with Kunti are in a boat in the river. Sa says, if we were not aware of this plan, then right now we would have got burnt alive in our sleep. Yd says, we are thankful to kakashree, Vidura for alerting us. Kunti says not only Vidura, but also the person, who alerted Vidura, should be thanked too. Yd says Jay Shri Krishna. Kunti prays to Krishna thanking him for saving them from this conspiracy & prays him to help them in future too, because he is the one who protects, nourishes, guides every one. Krishna is playing a happy tune on his flute in his chamber, content with the outcome of the event.

In Hastinapura, a guard, Raamraaj comes & breaks the happy news for Sh & Dy, that all the Pandavas with Kunti are burnt alive in the fire, their skeletons are found. Dy gifts him his necklace. Dy tells Sh, he gets the credit for this successful plan, he apologises for doubting his abilities earlier. Excited Dy then laughs calling himself maharaja Dy. Sh tells him to controll & not show happiness on his face, they can rejoice later on, right now he will go & break this happy no sad news to Dt & Gandghari.

Dt is weeping uncontrollably, Sh pretends to console him & Gandhari.

In Dwaraka, Vasudeva comes to Krishna, who is surprised to see him there. Vasudeva tells him, his friends who live in Varnavrata gave him the sad news about Pandavas & Kunti. They should go to Hastinapura to console them. Krishna says when there is no grief there, whom will we go & console. This was a planned conspiracy. Vasudeva is surprised hearing this, to give him more clear picture, Krishna starts his tv. Which shows Dy & Sh discussing happily the success of their plan. Dy calls Pandavas an eclipse in his life, which is over now. Vasudeva understands. The scene shifts to Dt & Gandhari who are crying. Vasudeva says atleast their tears are real. Krishna replies, but they are only responsible for this, had Dt controlled Dy, made him realized his limits, stopped him from being over ambitious then this event could have been avoided. Vasudeva agrees, he says but Bhishma pitamaha is not like Dt, how he must be feeling.

In Hastinapura, Bhishma is meditating in his chamber, Dt comes there weeping with a guard. Bhishma asks him the reason for coming there. Dt says he has come there as his son Dt, not maharaja Dt. He then tells him about Kunti & Pandava's sad demise. Bhishma doen't believe the news.

As I noted yesterday, Purochan was not the one who set fire to this house, and he didn't survive it either. What saved the Pandavas was their pre-empting it by setting fire to it themselves. Only thing - in the original, a Nishada woman and her 5 sons who took refuge there and were drunk got burnt, and they were later mistaken for Kunti & the Pandavas. But in this case, they had the Senapati, 4 guards and the senapati's wife (?) who got burnt to the extent that only their skeletons remained, and so they were mistaken to be the Pandavas. Well, this serial seems to by trying to avoid any collateral damages 😆

In SB 10.57, it describes the circumstances of Krishna's visit to Dwarka thus:

When Lord Sri Krishna heard that the Pandavas had supposedly been burned to death in the palace of lac, He went to Hastinapura with Lord Baladeva to maintain the principles of worldly protocol, even though, being omniscient, He knew the report was false.

No mention was made of Vasudev here, but that Krishna went there due to protocol reasons. Also, his going there also helped lull the Kauravas into thinking that the Pandavas were indeed dead. But one thing that surprised me - where did Vasudev suddenly come from, and how was he the one to give Krishna that news? I thought that Krishna's support to the Pandavas was due to their adherence to dharam, whereas this seems to suggest that it was fraternal ties that drove his decisions. Also, after showing all that, shouldn't Krishna have shown Vasudev the Pandavas being alive? And where is Satyabhama? Will they show her father getting murdered?

But I'm glad that Krishna held Dhritarashtra responsible for this, rather than just joining in grieving w/ him. I wonder whether he'll do what Vasudev wanted and go to Hastinapur, and if so, why? Only thing that would be served is if he were to keep the Pandava secret, and let everybody know that he too grieves their demise.

Only problem w/ this charade - it cleared the coast for Duryodhan to become yuvraj, thereby making things more complicated for the Pandavas when they returned w/ Draupadi.

That's why they have started giving disclaimer in the beginning, This story is based on their research- they only know what research, at least give name of your source & basically nobody is responsible for this interpretation. We are watching this at our own risk😆

^^^ I think Vishnu appeared b4 them in their dream - just like Krishna w/ Vidura & the miners. Incidentally, our miner was pretty versatile - he could dig the shaft (actually, after a point, the miners did squat and Bhima did all the digging 😆) and he could row a boat across the Yamuna @ night. Cool! 😎
