Battu is planning on an SS with an alternative ending to the MMZ serial, that can make a smouldering story of passion, unrequited love and broken friendships possible in the form of a MMZ Season II. Lots of new characters will be thrown in and bonds will be tested. But no worries, true love always triumphs, and so it will.
Watch this space!!! 😛
The origin of the Season II Idea...
It all began in my head when I was travelling in the Himalayas. I was upset with Star Plus, for ending the serial way before its decided deadline of October, and I found myself thinking how the hell am I going to see the serial when I would be in the mountains... but hotstar did come to my rescue, and I was able to see the epis one day late. I so wished to write reviews then, but was unable to type so much on my phone, so instead i would go over the epis again and again in my head, reliving every moment between Ardhika to the nth degree, as I had so much spare time on my holiday.
And then one night I was in Gopeshwar - just after my return from a very remote mountain area - and my room had a tv in it with cable... I thought, yayyy!!!! I'm going to watch MMZ realtime today. And I did. And I felt... so very irritated and frustrated with the CV's for completely butchering Arjun's character. I was ready to throw utensils and vent my anger, but unfortunately I wasn't at home, and there was no kitchen in the hotel room. 😡 😡 😠😠😡 😡
I remember chatting with esprit_00, and saying to her that this guy does not deserve Radhu anymore. Episode in question - Episode No. 109 - the day he proclaimed in the toilet - "I love you Sam, I love you very much!"
Aisa laga, ek kaan ke neeche thappad doon bande ko, tv mein ghus ke. 😕
Par possible nahi tha, So then I started thinking of a serious separation track for Arjun and Radhika. I was convinced that any man, who clearly loves her as Arjun loves Radhika, has to be completely deranged (and this is why I said, that the CV's butchered his character) inside his mind, to still covet another woman, on his sister's behest. It just does not fit into the normal scheme of things, even as far as hindi serialdom goes.
So I was convinced, that he needs to pay a very heavy price, before he gets to have Radhika in his life for good... (I think for the sake of ending the serial as early as they had to, the PH let both Arjun and Sam go scot free too easily) ... and so my brain started to cook up this story for Ardhika and NeSam that gives a proper lesson to Arjun (for having taken his sister's junoon too far) and Sam (for twisting a friendship so pure and making it as ugly as it could become) with Neil being their lighthouse in Radhika's absence.
