9/27/13 Review
So Finally the day has arrived when Antara realizes that the one special person or should I say the KHAAS INSAAN, who her father always mentioned is none other than Raghu!! Once again, I love the buildup to her realization. I think it was important for Antara to reflect back on all the incidences, but I feel the flashbacks could have included other more important scenes than just the ones where Raghu saves her. I think the fact that he made Antara smile and enjoy life after her father's death was the crucial aspect of this. Anyway, I guess this is understood from Dr. Kaul's dialogue. Today the way Raghu took care of the situation was amazingly shown. Whether it was at the begining when he tried to calm Antara down or be it the scene with Ishaan. Coming to Antara... She knows that Raghu Completes her. He has been with her through good and bad times. He taught her to look at the 50% filled glass rather than 50% empty glass. He stood by her and most of all he understands her. Raghu is the one person who she can talk to and not feel that she is judged or restricted. Of course Raghu is also on the same page and needs a push. Raghu will soon acknowledge his love as well... but as we all know before our lovebirds confess DM is going to break them apart! However I always like to say this that they are fighters! They will overcome all the obstacles to be with eachother!
*Side note: How cute were these two when Antara tilted her head and so did he 😆 That was adorable to say the least!

So today marked the begining of Ratara Love Let's see what is stored for us in the future!
SUMMARY
Ok since I am trying to convince some people to watch DDEJ I thought to write a quick summary
The lead couple name - Raghu and Antara
Antara lives in Kashmir with her Dad, mom, noor aapa and a younger brother named Ishaan. One day the dad gets a gift box, which has a bomb planted. As you would predict the father dies in this terrorist attack.
Antara's uncle comes down from Mumbai to take them with him especially since Antara's mother is sick and is living under the assumption that her husband is alive. Anyway Antara and her family comes down to mumbai and she finds Raghu fighting in the basti with some goons. That is how they meet. Now the first impression is that he is a "gunda". From there on they dont really start off on the right track since they have different ideals. Raghu lives with Daiya Maiye, who is supposedly in Jail and with Aaji, who is Daiya Maiye mother. Raghu's aaji offers Antara a job of being her caretaker as she sees Antara being Raghu's soulmate. She wants to bring them together. Raghu does not like the idea at first.
Raghu and Antara argue and fight continuously, but in the midst of this they learn more about eachother. Raghu comes to know that her mother is sick. Antara comes to know about Raghu and how his mother passed away. Overtime they have started to understand eachother. Now they are friends.Raghu is showing his support to Antara considering her situation. She has to send her brother to school and get treatment for her mother.Also Antara softens towards Raghu as she learns of his past.
Raghu's mother was really sick and Raghu was a small kid at that time. He went and pleaded to all their friends and relatives. Everyone refused to help. He then after rejection stole someone's purse. Unfortunately, he got caught stealing for the first time in his life. He was put in jail. He pleaded the officer to let him off and that his mother was sick and he needed money, but no one listened. The next day when they let him out of jail ...he reached home to find his mother dead. She had passed away the night he was incarcerated.

Now that Rantara are friends there had to be some twists and turns. A terrorist named Aman enters the show and he is responsible for the killing of Dr. Kaul. Raghu had met Aman in Kashmir when he was there and he introduced himself as a guide name Rahil. Raghu and Rahil become friend, but later on Rahil makes Raghu do an evil deed of giving the gift box to Dr. Kaul. Raghu is not aware of this, but since this Aman guy is repenting for his mistakes he wants to go on the right path.
Daya Maiye has returned from Jail as well and now she is against Antara as she is changing Raghu. She is possessive of Raghu in terms that how i explained he is the right hand of DM. She wants to control Raghu. She pretends to be noble infront of Raghu, but is actually evil. Raghu is not aware of her evil intentions.. he thinks she does this to help people, but he doesnt know she is hungry for power. She is now against Raghu and Antara and plotting against them. She will find the letter which Aman has written to Raghu saying he betrayed him and that he was the one who gave the gift to Dr. Kaul. Most likely DM will use this to her advantage to separate Rantara.
