I am not sure if any of you read it in the other post where I entered this as a comment...just because I very strongly think this way, I'm putting it again as a post...
I personally feel that most of the characters in the show are delusive. And the show-makers are using this pseudo-trait thing very smartly to advance the show. It is totally unpredictable for us and nothing can be presumed,as to what turn the next segment will take. Be it Antara(who has this lively,cheerful,happy-go-lucky girl inside her,subugated by the situations in her life) ; or take Raghu (who is so manly and insolent at times but has the heart of the same kid,who lost his mother at a tender age,inside him ; take Mamaji (who seems to be so indifferent and short-tempered but cares and loves everyone a lot actually) and then our Machmach dada toh clearly proved that he is not that bad and reluctant) and somewhere down the line every character has a different face behind which will be concealed until the right time.
