Watch swapping leads to baby swapping (shame) just an example.

Even if the baby swapping comes to see the light (it shall hopefully) not before it has been long forgotten like watch swapping (shall not justify watch swapping) as it never got to see the light amongst other blommers and a web of lies that sadly has this serial of late to offer

Welcome to the forum.

Compared to other shows, DABH CVs have always taken care to close as much loose ends as possible by the end of each track BUT the culprits escape their punishment or not allowed to learn from their mistakes either due to SurYa generosity or Bhabho diverting the issue into a challenge to Sandhya.

My only hope is Meena be punished legally for this baby swap and none of the family members even try to help her.

@Deebz: Well said Deebz. It was Sandy's selfishness in her pursuit of her dream that prompted the peerless Bhabho to sin! - I was thinking along the same lines...even if Suraj knows the LC truth and confronts Bhabho, this would be her answer.

See considering other serials DABH is far better. I am talking from a perspective of other Malayalam and Tamil serials I have to tolerate at home as my mom watches it 😃. DABH has a storyline. Yes it has. Agreed it is dragging. But what to do TRP rules the world and successful serials adhere to it.

Coming to your point, CVs close most of the tracks with something positive for Sooraj and Sandhya. And many occasions they have showed that when something negative is aimed at SURYA the most positive happens for them in the end.

For e.g Meena not allowing Sandhya to attend award function. This was the sole reason by which Sooraj came to know about Sandhya's dream, else Sandhya would have never told it.

Chavi losing necklace and Sooraj getting blamed. It was because he went in search of that necklace that he came to know about night college and enrolled Sandhya there.

Last but not the least current Chavi matter- Matka broke, but the CVs will show that matka actually broke Chavi's life as Chavi's marriage is going to be on a lie and she will get the humilation at her in laws place.

There are many like this in the serial which I have appreciated.

One thing I want to stress is that DABH tries to stress on the point that your Karma catches up with you no matter what. Though SURYA forgives and forgets the universe will not forgive or forget. Punishment may not be from SURYA for evil characters, they will be put in situations which will be the punishment for them.

For e.g Bhabo did have to stand as a thief atleast for a day in FB track for all the wrongful accusations she threw on Sandhya. It was a warning for Bhabo to reform. Unfortunatley she didnt care. So I am sure something big is coming her way

Coming to negative characters getting punished. Yes I want LC to come out and BS also at the earliest. But most probably this will be dragged as without Bhabo and Meena in the frame Sandhya's challenge is over. Especially LC will be dragged for sure.

With mega serials patience is the word, to be frank even I dont have it. I would have preferred DABH to be a book which I could easily read and finish in couple of days 😃😃😃. I guess DABH is a serial one should watch after it goes off air. Then we can watch it at a go and feel happy about it. 😃😃😃

I have never thought of this show or any show as giving out good social messages. Intentions start out well, but then things get sidetracked very quickly. The original story takes a backseat sometimes. DABH has managed to hold on to the IPS theme by coming back to it recently, so I credit them with that. But there are also shocking twists like a baby swap that are really not necessary to be shown. What does it achieve? Socially or even for the story progression? Nothing!

SurYa have disappointed me a lot recently because of the way Sandy hasn't felt free enough to tell Suraj the liq chocs truth. It doesn't matter to me about the consequences, but he should know what Sandy knows. Her carrying on like it's nothing and all back to 'normal' is not working for me. Plus...how on earth no one inclusing Emily wants to watch the wedding video is beyond me. Too many plots, too little time. They can stick to IPS and SurYa, but that's not happening in a timely or logical way. The matkas idea is from the dark ages.

So put this all in a pot and mix it, and I'm left with the cute baby and the cozy SurYa room. Soon that may be taken away too.

culprit is not getting unpunished I do not go through newspaper last time I read newspaper at the time of Delhi rape case and in that I came through that a rape case of 2001 was pending so when we r tolerating
these in real life then daily soap mein to itna chalta hain.
aur jaha tak baat suraj ki hai seedhe saade log ko to hamesa hi bewkoof banaya jata hai .Jo log palat ke jabab nahi dete log usike samne apne ko bada dikhana chahte hain.
all members r trying that only (with suraj)

True so very true is all that I can say.

At the moment all we see is that selfish reasons to protect spineless kids gets promoted over what was meant to be the liberalisation of the status of women.

Which indeed is sad.

Agree had it been a twenty episode serail just tackling the main issue without the TRP or other ratings could have been a good one.

The show's somewhat testing my patience and am waiting for some maha revelation to happen.

Thanks to all the members who took out their time to air their views.

Wish the main protagnists would step down from the cloud cucoo land and face the harsh realities, that await them and the first and foremost shall be a mother stepped out of cinderella.

Plotting the destruction of the only ones (the main protagnists of course) who inanely love her. The daughter in law supports the misdeeds of the latter to such an extent that she snuffs of the torch of truth by telling a lie (there goes the second pot). The Sunny in one episode was ready to lay down his life for her as he was held accountable for something as silly as getting his wife enrolled.

The Mother (or is it step) for that matter took the matter of ATM card stealing in a light manner not to forget that she blamed the damsel in distress (the main heroine) for the disgracious behaviour of her son who waylaid a girl and impregnated her...

So what exactly does this show. Where the hell is the illumination!!!

PLEASE ILLUMINATE !

Dear Members,

Would love to have your opinion on certain fronts;

1) Would you have liked if the serial would have been short and sweet (crispier of course) - This would have solved the problems of the side tracks some of them afore mentioned in this and other threads.

2)My take on the 30 second social message on the recent upheavings and disaster in Uttrakhand, is that, it looked a bit fake and though am sure the producers meant to pass on a social message, was a bit fake. and out of place.

3)Do you think that there are still some people around(in teh serail with some morals left)...they seem have been reduced to one erm ok may be two (in my opinion zilch...nada ..zero) . As the characters that started of well have been degenerating since eons now...

Of course all this is subjective so pardon me if certain sentiments have been hurt. but just an honest opinion is what counts.

Yes if the serial was short that would have been better, with a maximum run of say 1-1.5 yrs. But it does not happen now a days.

Social message I am ok with it. If it can reach some people that is good, no matter if it was inserted. I was ok it.

They have degenerated every character into negative. Bhabo was not actually evil, but a bit old fashioned and egoistic lady. But now she is made so much negative hell bent on destroying Sandhya.

Emily was a girl shown with some courage and modern thought process. But now she has been made a complete emotional fool, fearing divorce at every step and want to backstab the very same person because of whom her child will get the identity of its father.

The only positive characters I see is SURYA, Chotu, Chaturi and to some extent Vikram. Though this guy started of as a not so good guy he has shown showing some progressive thoughts in recent days.
