I agree that this whole TRP driven thing is crazy. Anyways, also touch to the fact that making it a 5 day affair for months voir years together makes the whole thing a pit painful and a drag and maybe protagonists and characters egt confused. new tracks are added to hastily resolve loose ends...

what a lovely write-up. i particularly (like many others) loved the way you have beautifully written about SURYA relationship's growth. I watch the serial for the same reason. In real life also, it is not easy to gain the love and trust of a completely unknown family regardless of the fact if it is a love marriage or an arranged one. A girl is expected to not only drop her last name and take a new one on, she is expected to automatically drop her maiden family and take on her new family as her "own" and her maayka becomes "paraaya ghar". This is why I keep watching the show. The other important reason is the forum members, who, through their posts sometimes come up with such jewels of advice albeit inadvertently - affect my life in a very positive way. When I feel too weary, I come here to get respite, get recharged and move on. It might sound so silly, but for me this is reality.

But alas nothing deters the mother in law from going bad to worse. She seems to be hell bent on extinguishing all flickers of jope that might arise.

The episode aired today illumintaded on the petty mindedness of all individuals. The poor thing took the wrath of the family members till the very dramatic moment the competition people came.

The reactions ranged from weird to absurd.

Something seems to have gone wrong...

The youngest daughter in law was spunky and funny and with episodes gone looks like her character has taken a beating.

The mother in law is on an egoistic trip and flits in and out of the cloud cucoo land stooping to levels unimaginable to boost her subjective faith(pray in which she and only she believes).

The rotten sons shamelessly make a song and dance of any positive aspect portrayed...

This one needs some Spunk and some normal handeling. In a normal world mothers do not differenciate inbetween siblings. It seems the time of the whole family out here is spent in plotting the destruction of the main protoganists (they themselves contort the truth according to the whims and fancies) which is yet another issue;

so do not know if the light fades into another gloomy end

So think even todays episode is going to be a STUB.

Went through various member posts on diverse threads and looks like the light is dying a small death.

Hope they would just end it keeping it short and sweet instead of testing the viewers intelligence by bringing in innenduoes and various fillers which seem to have become the focus.

FOCUS before aims gets lost

hope the light finds it's way back through the mazes, twists and turns of an abseesively self destructive family.
