I guess the reason I was saying it is futile to compare Indian and Pakistani dramas is that they made very differently.
Pakistani dramas are not very long...have a definite story line and ending in sight. Where as their Indian counterparts have a basic premise...but also have a never ending series of tracks that CVs juggle around depending on TRPs. And the serial can go on seemingly forever as long as the channel is satisfied that people are watching it.But frankly...too much of a good thing is not always a good thing.DABH has reached it's peak...in that Sandhya has become an IPS officer. But I wish the CVs would remember that DABH was not only about the IPS dream...it was also about Suraj and Sandhya. I wish they'd explore this husband and wife relationship more. Also I wish they'd give Suraj a chance to do more. Let him go back to school or expand his business. I just don't like him sticking his nose in Sandhya's police work. The BCT winner shouldn't need her husband holding her hand to get by with her daily police tasks.I'm sure if the CVs came up with tracks that showed some growth in Suraj's character...it would pull in TRPs as well.
