I just wanted to clarify a few things. Some people have felt that Sid's love is unselfish and Armaan's is more so. I would like to point out that, it was Armaan who tried to give up his own love for Riddhima not long ago when he realized she was married. Who was the one who tutored Sid in the locker room about BBall, shaving his legs, wearing pink shirts, and drinking cappuccino? Who hid himself in Sid's door from a certain person? He went out of his way to get these two together. Now that Riddhima knows how she feels about Armaan, people are judging him unfairly. I would like to request everyone to keep an open mind and see that Armaan always wanted the best for Riddhima. He is still the same guy who bought chappals for the villagers two years ago, the same person who strove to make Riddhima happy with bad-tasting laddoos and the same one who made us laugh all this time.
And yes, he was the one who went into the room trying to save his patients because as a former IOTM you'd expect nothing less. Bravo, Dr. Mallik.

trina awww i soo love u man for opening this topic...people who say dr.armaan is selfish need to see past episodes...reaally ...and i agree even sid isnt selfish ...for me the most selfish person in dmg is riddhima bcoz she with her this farz decision is not just torturing herself but also sid and armaan...i believe both sidmaan are selfless...though what armaan did is a bit more of selflessness

You completely fail to understand why he is getting so much of criticism and bashing. he didnt feel any qualms gatecrashing a married couple's honeymoon, seducing his friend's wife behind his back, backstabbing his friend's trust, stalking his friend's wife, emotionally pressurizing her and using physical and mental manipulation to make her confess her feelings, trying to interfere in husband-wife's conversations, going to sid's house to 'take' riddhiam from there, and offcourse feeling guilty 1 sec and next sec reverting back to the same action.....r these reasons enuff for u to understand y he is getting bashed???

Trina , although , I haven't commented much on your topics , yet I wanna applaud you for this one. You've really highlighted those aspects of Armaan's actions , which certain people have simply denied / failed to acknowledge . As far as I've perceived , no character in DMG is shown to have suffered as much as Armaan has.

It's no easy thing to give tips to someone else to woo the person you once loved the most. Yet , Armaan did that. He decided to mend her life by inflicting pain upon himself. We acknowledge that Sid today has finally done the right thing & we respect him for that , yet people simply denied acknowledging Armaan for the pain he took upon himself a while back when he tried to make SR fall for each other.Anyways , they're all bygones now & he's finally got the person , he's loved all his life. Coming to the topic , I agree , Armaan is one among the most selfless , lovable characters, I've come across in Indian Television.

For anyone who thinks Armaan is a backstabbing person, let us please remind ourselves he was the one who played cupid in the first place. It isn't his fault if things didn't work out. When he realized Riddhima still loved him, it was hard. He couldn't deny his own still-strong feelings and he couldn't just forget Riddhima like that. He didn't force Riddhima into loving him, they had a history together long before sid came into the picture. Noone can deny that. How about how Sid tried to ruin Tamanna's engagement with the Hindi professor? How about how he went to the restaurant where they were meeting? And how he tried to kidnap her with the help of his friends? Was that any more selfish than what Armaan has done? If anyone is going to point fingers, let's at least look at both sides of the story.
Both of them are imperfect in their own ways, but both have loved other people deeply and that is why so many people watch them.

i cnt believe you are comparing sth as heinous as making out with sum1 else's wife behind his back to sid going to the restaurant to spy on tamanna and aniket...i guess we r on complete diff tangents to actually even try to understand each other...each to his own...u think arman is decent. i think arman was decent till some events forced me to change my view on his character. peace out
