Trinzzzz dude it's been long since we last spoke :) How are you???
Coming to your topic, I agree with you completely. These days I don't comment on any topics and or for that matter don't even come to IF for reasons best known to all 😔 Saw your topic and had to comment, drop by and say Hi 🤗.
I have so much to say on this issue but unfortunately or fortunately for others I do not have time to pour my heart out...gotta study pharmacology 🤓

Actually, I don't have a problem with what is being said about him as much as I have a problem with it being said ONLY about him. Yes, it could be said Armaan 'enticed' Ridhdhima, and I can see that. But given their history, she has refrained from kissing him when they were officially together. Clearly, she could have stopped him during that whole tent event. Ridhdhima is a lot of things, but promiscuous is absolutely not of them.

It is said, women use physical interaction as a means for intimacy, men use intimacy as a means for physical interaction.

The next thought process follows from there. A woman who refuses to kiss her boyfriend (as he was at the time), engages in intimacy with him now that he's her EX-boyfriend and she's married to someone else. For him, that was a clear indicator that her feelings for him are still as strong. Add to which he finds out that the husband and wife have not been intimate at all. That started the whole stalking situation and pressurizing tactics.

Ridhdhima has been portrayed as so weak-willed, everyone else seems to make decisions for her- except when it comes to sending Armaan into the ICU, of course. That decision, she can make easily enough. So, Armaan had to make the decision for Ridhdhima once again, that she would have to tell Sid what happened. So that Sid could figure out if he wanted to be with Ridhdhima. He couldn't very well go and tell Sid himself, now could he?

That said, there is no justification for not exiting a room when a wife is about to make a shocking confession, especially when you are involved. Just as there is no justification for going to your lover's house after the said confession.

I personally believe, Sid deserves better. Yes, Armaan's motives were towards personal gain as well, no doubt, but he did also say (consistently) why should Sid compromise? And why should Sid? In fact, I wish Sid had told Ridhdhima today that one of the reasons he wants to end the marriage is so he can find a love that is his and his alone. I doubt any of Sid's fans wanted him to end up with Ridhdhima in light of everything that's played out.

Dude don't know you but this is brilliant and very well put. I have a lot to say on this issue and seeing that someone can have a civil discourse with out name calling is really exciting however I am short on time and must hit the books. Just wanted to appreciate a very well written post, good job.

what people fail to see is that no person can always be a self sacraficing god. Armaan has always been the one to help his friends whether its muskaan atul shubankar nikki rahul or riddhima. even when sanjeevni was going to close down, instead of looking for a new place to finish his internship he worked on ways to save the hospital, to bring dr. keerti back to work. he paid for minnie (who was jus his patient) entire medical expense
later when Armaan found out he was going insane he left to make Riddhima free. In a time when Armaan was the one who truly needed support from his family and friends, he left without letting any of his friends know where he is just so Riddhima couldnt find him. So she could be free of him...
when armaan came back and found out Riddhima is married he didnt try to come between them. He even played cupid for them and tried to get them together. He helped Sid. His intentions were selfless.
And then YES...when Armaan found out that their was a possibility that Riddhima still loved him he refused to back down. Because he saw that every time Riddhima wud choose Sid but she never was able to move on from him. If there was even the slightest possibility that the person you love is also in love with you wouldnt you atleast try. Armaan earned that...he earned to be selfish that one time. He earned a chance to fight for his love...Armaan may have been selfish in the end but it was because Riddhima gave him reason to believe she still loved him. Armaan was brave enough to follow his heart and give his love one last chance. Armaan even said that he just wanted riddhima honestly tell him she didnt love him...but she couldnt do that...
Armaan and Sid are both good guys who were just put in a really bad situation. The only truly selfish person was Riddhima who was too much of a coward to admit to her feelings and be responsible for breaking a so called "sarced" bond.

Awesome topic Trinz.. I agree with every word you have written.. It is very easy to bash Armaan for everything that happened.. but one has to understand that, this man , never..ever wished bad for anybody.. His actions might have hurt Sid or Ridz.. but that was never his intention... One has to see the thought behind ones actions not the action itself..

I partly agree with people saying that Armaan shouln't have gatecrashed their honeymoon and then got intimate with Riddhima.Agreed..But the point is that was everything normal with SR before that? I mean on the wedding and honeymoon? No.Armaan stayed away from the remarriage and very rightly so.But the moment Riddhima came to know about Armaan missing her thoughts went back to him.On the day of her wedding she was remembering their roka,on her wedding night she was thinking about Armaan..On their honeymoon her thoughts kept going back to Armaan,so much so that she even hugged Sid thinking it was Armaan. Was Armaan harrassinh her then? Puting any mental pressure on her then,to confess or anything?No..Riddhima had never moved on from Armaan.Yes she tried to work on her marriage and those are the moments that made people think that she fell in love with Sid..She was trying to be a good wife, that was not coz she in love with Sid.If that was the case she would have consummated and confessed long time back. Armaan made a mistake once and lost his love, though his intention was not wrong,it was an error of judgement..He's not gonna do that again..Like Sid sais today, life is too short to live for compromises.
