When he realized Riddhima still loved him, it was hard. He couldn't deny his own still-strong feelings and he couldn't just forget Riddhima like that. He didn't force Riddhima into loving him, they had a history together long before sid came into the picture. Noone can deny that. How about how Sid tried to ruin Tamanna's engagement with the Hindi professor? How about how he went to the restaurant where they were meeting? And how he tried to kidnap her with the help of his friends? Was that any more selfish than what Armaan has done? If anyone is going to point fingers, let's at least look at both sides of the story.

Both of them are imperfect in their own ways, but both have loved other people deeply and that is why so many people watch them.

i dont know if i should reply here or not... I love armaan ,but his love decreased for me after the whole tent scene.
Tammana and sid situation is totally different. first of all she wasnt married. When he tried to kiddnap her.. he soon realize it was a mistake.. he hinted his friends not to do itt ,but it was too late.
Armaan was stalking her in her HONEYMMOON. now dont tell me it wasnt wrong or because he loved her... like come on. he could have waited to tell her his feelings later or after the honeymoon. And he knew that sid decorated that place for riddhima... obviously for some special occasion. after all this he still continued. I am not only blaming him,.. riddhima is also at fault... Once he didnt apologize to sid cause of his action.
Armaan is much older than sid... he should be more resposible ...
at the end its all cvs fault for destroying their own character.
this is my pov. sorry if i hurted somones feeling

It is very easy to bash Armaan for everything that happened.. but one has to understand that, this man , never..ever wished bad for anybody.. His actions might have hurt Sid or Ridz.. but that was never his intention... One has to see the thought behind ones actions not the action itself..

There's a quote which says "we judge others by their actions and ourselves by our intentions"

And everyone here judges Armaan based on his physical action. No one ever tries looking past his action and delving into the intention behind his actions. Whatever the character of Armaan has done from the beginning of DMG till now has been done with good intention (of course with few glitches because no one is perfect)!

Really good topic Trinz.

sorry to interrupt but do u think a person who has stolen from someone 's house with the intention of feeding his family with the money can be justified??

this armaan isnt the same armaan that bought the chappals sweetie, they try to say he is, but he isnt. and its quite obvious, the only thing that hasnt changed is his love.

hes getting bashed because of how hes showing that love, not because anyone purely hates the character, if they dislike him, its because somewhere along the way he screwed up.

I personally still love armaan despite the fact that i do wish he had moved on and not, well, screwed up.

I am sorry but I didn't quite get your point, pardon me for being ignorant. But if you are talking about him stealing someone else's wife then I would say no he didn't steal anyone's wife, the wife was an equal participant in whatever took place during the honeymoon. I think enough has been said about that from both the fan groups and our perspectives obviously differs so there is no point in having a never ending discussion.

Peace :)

I mean on the wedding and honeymoon? No.Armaan stayed away from the remarriage and very rightly so.But the moment Riddhima came to know about Armaan missing her thoughts went back to him.On the day of her wedding she was remembering their roka,on her wedding night she was thinking about Armaan..On their honeymoon her thoughts kept going back to Armaan,so much so that she even hugged Sid thinking it was Armaan. Was Armaan harrassinh her then? Puting any mental pressure on her then,to confess or anything?No..Riddhima had never moved on from Armaan.Yes she tried to work on her marriage and those are the moments that made people think that she fell in love with Sid..She was trying to be a good wife, that was not coz she in love with Sid.If that was the case she would have consummated and confessed long time back. He made a mistake once and lost his love..He's not gonna do that again..Like Sid sais today, life is too short to live for compromises.

I just love the way you put your arguments yaar.. I haven't said it b4.. but have always noticed it..😳

Yes, If the money primarily belonged to him..

but how does it fit here? Ridhima is not an object to steal.. even if Armaan hadn't "stolen" her from him, she would still be Armaan's.

If you saw today's episode, U'll knw wat I mean.. Armaan tells Sid the same.. he says " you are leaving her like an object for me, but she is not gonna stay with me"
