Giving a mentally imbalanced person psychiatric help isn't equivalent to redeeming him. The issue isn't that V is given psychiatric help -- if that was the case, then HC would've quit when they made him repeat dialogues like "you should get treatment", etc. The issue is the social message being lost and the course that the show has taken.

Psychiatric help or not, V is still an abuser who should be serving his punishment behind bars. Is he? No. Was he? No. The current track was never a part of the plan. Neither were a lot of things that had happened post his entry.

Can't change the perceptions of people, but to assume that an actor could've predicted the amount of damage creatives would do with the show is kind of ridiculous. In addition to that, when he was interviewed on it, he'd already signed the contract. Who says that at the time he signed the contract, the creatives had even written V as mentally imbalanced? His OCPD issue wasn't raised until later on in the show. For reasons we all know.

In the end, again, that's hardly the point. The point is rather that he's had enough now and is standing up for what's right. He has nothing to say to victims when they come to him because of the turn this show has taken -- and that's just sad. The channel and creatives should be held responsible for corrupting the show.

I agree ANA, d current track was never a part of d plan or story, where V will b redeemed becos he is a kid nd RAGHAV will tend him. I mean any actor in HC's place wud get high BP 2 know dat hw his character wud b butchered.
V was never given any punishment, he ran away 4m d jail nd never returned dere, he being a pshyc rapist is still freely roaming in d city only 2 end up in Singh house again, nd thus again try 2 sell him thru RAGHAV nd SIA's affection 2wards him. CVs 4m every angle has one motive dats sell V no matter hw much d story is affected, d actors r dissapointed nd d message is corrupted. Nd we all r aware of d conditions on which d leap was taken, why d leap was taken, nd even d leaps period of one year , everything was planned only 2 resell nd accomodate V, Never ever did d CVs try 2 focus on RAGHAV nd SIA's journey, nd nw they expect HC nd SJ 2 stay mum.

But it was coming, he was never the actor who would compromise with the content of the script and deliver a wrong message.

He is not a kind of actor usually leave show in the middle. He has shown his displeasure in past too but I am sure there must be solid reason for him to make decision like this. Article also mentioned that they already had lots of discussion about it so I a sure he was talking to ph for some times now.

HC took a stand.. and a much needed stand... I support him in every decision of his!!!

HC is still so much understanding nd gv dem a deadline of 30th of Nov, still if the channel cannot repair d damage, den dats up2 dem. Newas, we will b wid HC nd if he quits, we will quit the show in youtube also.
