you guys CHILL OUT!
omg seriously?
topic maker has a right to express her views and question the show...what is wrong with it?
I know you guys are fans of the show but no need to mock or whatnot...
even I am wondering the same thing, like what is the goal of this show? I know some fiction shows are there to tell love stories and this isn't like one of those stories.. it is much different ..
but in totality there should be a direction to where this serial is headed and as of now it has been almost 1month since serial has been on air and no direction has been given as of yet... I hope they think of something or show a hint of where this is going because yes we can watch how jhanvi deals with her situation but even there what direction will it take... not trying to be mean or anything but no one can watch a man torturing a woman in every episode 🤔

Sorry to comment and add a post to this thread... Why you don't find it realistic ? a man locking his wife and daughters for 15 years in a house, not letting them interact with outer world? is that realistic? a man for sake of success in business sleeping with his daughter ? is that realistic ? is human body parts being mixed in hotel food as nothing is more addictive: is that realistic? parents killing their 14 year old daughter and servant in cold blood? is that realistic? a man at NOIDA feasting on human meat? is that realistic?

there are many such news which doesn't sound realistic to us, unless it comes one day in news; and we say shocking... But they are realities that are happening around us... I don't know how many marital abused women you know, and have studied what all kind of mental, physical, sexual abuse they have faced... So maybe it all might sound unrealistic to you... Women in domestic abuse live their whole life, with such abusers for various reasons... they look for hope, or are tied down by some compulsion... That is what this show in its first phase seems to be portraying, covering every aspect... and that every ray of hope that Jhanvi finds, meets with a failure...

So far as I understood, this show is not about reality, but a shocking reality. So at times we all may find it a bit unreal... As whenever a reality is fictionalized and packaged to deliver entertainment (entertainment doesn't mean just smiles and happiness, but anything that binds us to our sofa sets and watch it); it is bound to get overboard at times... This show is really packaged well... Had it been an ugly looking person, shot more grouchily, been more painful, how many of us would have been watching it... they made the narrative thriller to hook us... Such a dark content, and still the makers make us come back 7 days a week, and watch it, is indeed commendable... Its a very smartly packaged show...

Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction..if I may use the cliche here.

My two cents worth...

Unfortunately, marital abuse as well as Viraj's psychological disorder is a reality. It is quite a bold and different concept and if handled well enough may even help a small % of people who are undergoing the problem day in and day out overcome/ tackle it to an extent

Personally ( and again its strictly IMO) the concept is too dark for me to watch for 7 days a week..so just get skim through some of the episodes. Acting wise its good.

Have you ever done normal basic psychology of human,
Or maybe try to understand a person?

I am not trying to be rude, but it seems like you have not walked out of your fairyland yet.
I know it's hard for you to understand maybe because of that, but I think you had enough explanation from various member!

If you don't like the show don't watch it.

I find your point unbelievable like you really not thinking or you don't want to think.
To me your point is unrealistic, even after all this explanation.

god stop getting so personal and rude! I have studied this topic closely, and I do find the show unrealistic, for instance which beating husband, beats himself up after he rapes his wife? and which beating husband tattoos their wife's name? and this guy is way too cunning for a normal person! Hence I find it unrealistic and if u want to be rude, do not bother to reply!

the new episodes are just proving my point, I mean how many abusive husbands have that much cunningness to do whatever Viraj is doing? this serial seems like an entertainment based thriller more then anything else!

Hi!

Usually in situations like these, the woman ends up pregnant, and while she is not exposed to much physical torture, the fear is still there.

However there are instances where the physical torture continues, maybe not to the same frequency, but it's there, and the baby survives.

I think the reason the creatives are introducing this new track is because they could take it in two different ways:

a) baby survives, Jhanvi is forced to start standing up for her child.
b) baby does not survive, and Jhanvi decides "enough is enough"

I am finding it hard to see how you find the entire thing so unrealistic?

I know of people who have gone through a thing similar to what Jhanvi has gone though. And that too for more than 10 years. I am sorry for being rude, but you are almost insulting the people who have gone through this by calling their situation unrealistic.

Yeah it might have been exaggerated a bit, and there is no fault in it, since it opens people's eyes.

We aren't attacking you because you don't like the show. We aren't forcing you to like the show. We are just making you realise that these kind of situations exist in real life. There are people out there who are still suffering through this!
So you can't turn around and say that this thing is almost impossible and unrealistic.

You have every right to express your views, and please go for it. But before you do, please read up the facts, case studies, ask around and then make a claim of someone being realistic or not.

why are people finding it so hard to get my point?? domestic violence is very common, but Viraaj's character, his cuningness, and the screenplay is not, a similar track has been shown in the show Sasural Genda Phool, however I find that track a lot more realistic then this track! I mean how many men have the power and the intelligence to put a man behind bars??? Viraaj has way too much wit and brain for a wreckless, twisted and a mentally disturbed, obsessed lover! and for your information you are insulting me by thinking that I do not know anything on this matter!!! do you think I am uneducated or something??? I have researched and written a thesis on this in my gender class!

Jahnvi is in love with him because she is a naive, innocent girl who finds happiness in very small things. The show has just started and you can't expect her to react so quickly and come to a conclusion of divorcing Viraj or dragging him to the court, can you?😛😉😆 If that happens then the show would end in just two months lol.

And as far as people wanting them as a "couple", well I guess they already are a couple😆
OK jokes apart, I guess Viraj is not ''negative''. He has suffered a lot in the past and maybe his mom was bad and probably cheated on his dad, that is why he doesn't trust Jahnvi with this as well. Had he been a disgusting animal, I wouldn't have wanted to see them as a couple, but he is sick, so it will be Jahnvi who will treat him with her love and affection.

and why such a hot and handsome person like KarnVir is playing this character!? soo frikin weird!!
The simple answer to this is "BECAUSE VIRAJ'S CHARACTER WAS MADE FOR KV ONLY BECAUSE IT IS NOT ANY LOVERBOY'S CUP OF TEA"😛
