Firstly there is a point, it brings out faces of all those people who are like viraj and janvi
That's the whole point, to portray a real life situation.
This is not a fairy tail, if you expecting something like that you are at the wrong place.

Not every story are Lovy dovy
And that's why 2.1 trp :)

Do you really think mental husband like viraj would stop torturing his wife over night?
Wake up maybe

That's the main thing... The whole story is about how he understand the real aspect of life...
And in a real person it takes long time...

Maybe do little case study on this type of people, how vile they are... And dangerous and sick
Then you will know
For a person like him have little chance or may take years after years

This serial, even though even am frustrated because she hasnt stood up even after the rape fiasco, represents real life, women do not fight back easily, they always tend to suffer, until that bulb lights up, and that bulb sometimes never does light up!, unfortunately, that is the truth.
Waise, because the show started with its poignant part at the beginning audience expects Jhanvi to start fighting for herself, we ought to give it more time!... I believe this pregnancy track will be the turning point for Jhanvi, she will either let him beat her up and risk losing her child, or she will fight back to save not herself but that of her child. Though i will still state tha bringing a child in that environment is most definitely not needed.
Am surprise at this pregnancy track, with all those violence she has been subjected too, i would have though pregnancy was the last track cvs will indulge on. Oh well.. lets wait and see
I shall state again this show is still new! we ought to give it time.. and the point of the serial is to show that even though women suffer from [physical violent, they dnt automatically opt to give up that relationship, mainly because they believe they still love their husband, but we all know once an abuser always an abuser:(
By the way! your point about why is Karanvir playing this character? dude its to show his talent. An actor always takes up various different roles, to demonstrate their portrayal of different characters, u cannot expect only romantic shows, some shows ought to be different, because like Jhanvi most people are blind when it comes to arrange marriages... and end up marrying their daughters to vile characters like Viraj without realising it:(
Either way.. well done Karanvir, u rock:)..and i think u r doing a fantastic job:)

First of all - Jahnvi does not love her husband ... she now fears him.. and it's her fear that has made her to remain with him. And there are cases where women stays with their abusive husband because either they have nowhere to go or else they are too scared to make any fight.

Secondly - this serial seems to have two agenda-

a) to show how a woman can stand up and fight against a abusive relationship
b) how childhood abuse can result in personality disorder and how we can deal with those persons

Jahnvi will come out of her fear - that's for sure. Now whether she starts legal battle first and then decides to help him or vice versa -that's to be seen.

Childhood abuse and trauma plays a vital role in the personality development of a person. May be everyone does not become extreme case like Viraj, but studies have shown that in most cases, people with disturbed/traumatic childhood have personality disorder or show odd behavior even if it is in subtle manner.

People with personality disorder need help and it's true that it takes a long time to improve their conditions. In real life, even when we see the first symptoms of disorder of our near ones, we often overlook it or punish that person instead of helping him or her.

Forget about helping, even when we see a child being abused or not given proper treatment by family - we keep quiet thinking that it's their personal matter.

Jahnvi should stood up against Viraj; but we as a society or as parents cannot completely wash off our hands from the responsibility of making such Viraj.
