A Nagging Doubt

After watching the last two epis, I am baffled at two things😳 like anyways they care🥱

I think it's less about Mohan and more about the family pride really...so to make sure his own pride is not hurt he is willing to make Kastur his bahu conveniently forgetting that he doesn't want Mohan to return -- it's just a matter of what keeps his ego intact. And that works, because when Bhanu reminds him he responds immediately.

What I CAN'T understand is whether they had a plan of any sort if Mohan had arrived on the scheduled day. I mean wouldn't they have faced the same thing, anyway??

and wht about why he was so furious with Mohan's parents

watevr happened was ok, but y d helll banu nd saroj dint say mohan about d marriage deal, wen he was in abroad? sooo now wen mohan will kno d fact nd refuse, baaapji wil hv a blast on him. 😡

Sundas I think it was because by then Mohan was already in the UK I think. It was never a condition before he left, it became one only when Baapji said it. And I'm guessing they didn't want to worry him too much over there.

There are way too many inconsistencies in the show right now ... most things don't make sense to me ... and the party they are planning to show is another such thing, i mean how can baapji ever agree to such a party even if they are going to announce kastur's engagement? I am unable to relate to any of the chars except saroj i think, she is the only one you understand without a second thought ... and worst part is chars are not even making me think why and why not, they are portrayed so flatly ... and yes that includes Mohan, there are way too many question unanswered and portrayal of his char is very jumpy ... one moment he is all attitude when he enters the show at airport ... next moment he is all fun with his mom and mama ... next he is like an innocent kid enjoying rain ... next uska gala sukh raha hey (🥱 worst dialogues) ... one moment he does not want his mom to find out about the fact he smokes ... next moment he spends all night outside his house without a fear of anyone finding out .. I do understand may be justm ay be they are trying to show different dimensions of his character but fact is they are not elaborating enough for it to make sense or make you relate to the char. also so far the mohan they have shown (good or bad) looks content with life, having no worries ... and i am not sure even if this will go on with what they plan to show as the reason why he would agree to marry kastur.

Kastur on the other hand is already an out of this world char for me

Script is weak very weak and characterization flat!

or am i asking too many questions too soon? 😕 but its three weeks now we should be able to relate to chars atleast

soaps i think we all r jst getting tooo worried. coz harshad himself only told in his latest interview dat his char is unpredictable and has many layers. so as days will pass d layrs will removed.

Also as mohan hugged baapji nd bhaved nicely wid him after cumin bak in home, dis incident might hv made baapji agree 4 d party, 4 mohans happiness. dis s jst my views.

did u notice dat wen bapji told jitu bout d deal, jitu said dat it will b kastur decision. soo d flashbak is still holding sum twist as it wil reveal y kastur madly luvs champu😍 I mean y wil she say yes 4 an oily, slim nd cward nerd type of boy? they might show proper reasons 4 dis.

@ sunsine i get ur point and i agree to it to some extent but than again i think baap ji ego's hurt too much he just wants to jatao his haq over his Grandson even if he has cut all ties with him he just says it deep inside he knows he can't cut him off at the end of the day mohan is his own blood and he wants to have a right over him

Arey i love layers in a char ... thats why i was so looking forward to seeing mohan but here the problem is they are not even establishing those layers, remove karney ki baat tou baad mey aey gi 😆 I mean the only thing they have established so far is he hates gujju culture and traditions and that he drinks and smokes ... ok but who and what is he and most importantly why is he what he is?

Yea it will be kastur's decision but what about mohan? Uska koi right nahi decision ka? 🤔 and if what we read of the plot is true then i can't blame mohan for agreeing to marry kastur because he needs money ... i mean if they can sell him once why can't he do it another time himself? See am sorry but am not someone who can watch romance for the sake of it ... no matter how much romance is there i can not enjoy it until chars make sense to me ... i have to be able to relate to them only then i will enjoy even the romance right now am not able to not because the story is not interesting or mohan does not intrigue me but the fact that execution is weak and characterization even weaker and i know this is not a romantic show so am not even waiting for any romance ... all i want is a good smooth story that makes sense
