dkdm used to be my favourite show but ever since sonarika left the show i did not watch it anymore. I really tried to watch it but in vain.I really missed the amazing chemistry of mohit sonarika. their acting really felt like original shiva and parvati. huh! over the years I have rooted for many actor and actresses. They were Sriti Jha aka Jhanvi from swabhagyabati bhavo. Misty from Pokemon. Jennifer Winget from Dill mill Gayee. Gautam Gambhir from Indian cricket. But what a bad luck of mine just when they become my fav actor/actress. They get replaced. And no matter how much I try to watch the show I actually never able to watch it. To be precise I just cant move on. I wonder how many people just move on so easily... like sonarika to pooja to suhasi... so easily ???????

Yes it is sad when actors u love are replaced in a show but we have to move on. That is the norm.
Many times in daily soap lead actors are replaced or they decide to quit which is not in our hands hurts their fandom but when it is beyond us accept the reality.
As for the show it goes on weather someone stays or goes because after all it is also related business and commerce. There are a lot of people whose lives and jobs are at stake so therefore when a show runs for a long time feeds a lot of people.
Even if there is a replacement after a while loyal audience do accept the change on but for those who only love the actors and are not able to relate to new face moves on to other shows.
There is no point in cursing or cussing. Nothing is going to change the truth.
We all have loved the show at one point of time lets keep the good memories and do away with the bad and accept that sometimes whatever happens it is for the best.
Sonarika is moved on and very happy in her own space as for Pooja she will get busy too as she also works in Bengali movies so her fans can expect something or the other.
I for one love to watch the good old days of DKDM and catch up the best moments of the show from back than and thereby keeping those memories alive always 😊

I stopped watchng dkdm REGULARLY aftr the exit of SATI. I am feeling still that None can replace the role of Shiva's ardhangini. Aftr wtchng it I cant accept Parvati as Shiva's wife. I cant c anyone in the place f sati. not only the actress but also the mythical characters

Yeah miss her so much, after her exit, i lost my interest to watch this show. after some days i quit the show. noone even can match sonarika, even in other mythological shows my eyes always find sona as adishakti, i never see anyone else to play this role so naturally ever. specially the mahakali role. after her exit always wanted to hear that pls someone say she is coming back. she was the perfect for this role. she was the charm of the show.

somewhere the sati days touched a chord that parvati never matched. one could relate to sati, her faults, her regrets and most importantly her ardent love as a LOVER. she considered herself equal to mahadev unlike parvati who even apologises to mahadev for breathing. even after killing mahishasura parvati apologised to mahadev...
Most importantly, those days showed a love story and these days show just lets of BAM BAM and often no real meaning to the whole track except that it somehow builds from the last episode

I'm actually with you about Sati. I know Sati is also Parvati in essence... but in this show, Sati stole my heart.

With all due respect to all Parvati actresses (well, actually to Sonarika, cos I haven't seen the episodes where Pooja and Suhasi acted as Parvati)... I still find Shiva-Sati (or Mohit-Mouni) chemistry the best. But that's just me.

But about the Sati vs Parvati portrayal, yeah, I know Sati isn't "sampoorna" because she hadn't attained her higher form etc, but exactly because of what you said (Sati saw herself as Shiva's equal) that I am more attracted to Sati than to Parvati - again, in DKDM. Yes, I know Sati is stubborn etc, but somehow I love that stubbornness, because it doesn't make her subservient to Mahadev.

I do find it disturbing that Parvati often treated Mahadev as higher than her, tho Mahadev repeatedly said that Shiva-Shakti are the same. Shakti is Shiva's ardhangini, right? So she should have the same powers and regards with Mahadev, instead of being subservient. But I think it goes back to the writers/director's wish? But it doesn't sit well with me. So... yeah, Sati wins my heart...

About the original question, how people move on so easily... I guess for me it's because I love Sati (Mouni) more than Parvati (Sonarika), tho they are essentially the same. Hence I don't think i will have a problem when I start watching the Pooja Bose episodes. There are four main glues for me for this show: Mahadev (Mohit), Sati (Mouni), Vishnu (SRJ), and Nandi (Kumar Hedge). The three main glues are still here to the end, so I can still watch and enjoy the show...

😲no,actually parvati is more matured than her previous birth sati.being submissive doesn't mean that she is weaker than mahadev.it is the quality of all the three devis[parvati, lakshmi, saraswati],that they show much respect to their husbands.but in terms of power, they are the catalysts for their respective husbands.
