Overall, DKDM has done a hatchet job on most of the characters and stories, in their effort to showcase Mahadev - which I believe was not necessary. Everybody knows the beauty and wonder of Lord Shiva.

I was most annoyed with what they did to Kartikeya with all that psycho-babble.

I think they spared only King Bali and Shukracharya.

Personally, I did not like the portrayal of Parvati by Puja B; however, if she has decided to come back to reprise the role, I hope she has negotiated a better deal for herself in terms of script (more focus on Adi Shakti - with correct stories; instead of the personal equation between Mahadev and Parvati -as here it falters), portrayal, footage etc. Considering that DKDM are in a fix, she would be in a position to demand it. Let's hope the DKDM team do not do a Sati Rahasya type of job on her !! No actor deserves that. And yes we the audience do not deserve it too...

Back to the current track - I feel a bit 🤪, but Nat Bhairav makes it worthwhile.
Even though we are back to not knowing the Rajya or the kings name or ...

@bold.. i wud not agree on that part..

after Utkarsh's entry as writer Aadishakti has been the most focussed character (after Puja's entry it was very much visible) so much so that Mahadev cannot even move a limb without Parvati😕😕

Although they started showing the Adi Shakti tracks, its all shown with Adi Shakti in a bit of negative way - that is she always seems to be making mistakes and after Puja came in major ones at that; and also that inability to control her own energies. Come on...
Adi Shakti is the primordial Goddess - DKDM does not respect that.
Yes, DKDM wants to show more the importance of Mahadev, but why should it be that the Goddess is depicted in such a way?

It is wrong to insinuate that Mahadev cannot move a muscle without Shakti because ShivShakti are one and not two separate entities.
It is important to understand that aspect before we complain.
Adishaktri is divided into Lakshmi, Saraswati and Shakti and Shakti is there to annihilate all evil and demonic forces on the earth.

I agree that recently Adishakti stories are shown in DKDM primarily because the truth is even in purans Shakti kills all the demons and not Shiv so u cannot just create stories where Shiv does everything like was shown in case of Karthikeya where Shiv was shown assisting karthik killing Tarakasur or even in the premise of his birth which was badly distorted by DKDM.

Puja has been much more luckier because by the time she came in as Parvati the writers tried to improve the image of Shakti which earlier writers had reduced to being just a wife and mother and could not move a muscle without Shiv.

exactly.. like in Jalandhar episode and even in Andhak one Parvati's importance was more of "forced" one rather than mentioned as such in the story..!!

similarly in Shakti tracks it happens the other way round.. therby degrading both the characters..!!!

In Jalndhar I specifically cud not undertsnad the need fr Aadishakti to come along side Mahadev (although they gave a reason.. but then it was not believable) aftrall all she did was to come and stand along side Mahadev..!! Instead they could have actually concentrated ONLY on Mahadev and Jalandhar fight..!!

IMO they only thing that they shud do is tht give Shiva his due importance wen his story is shown and give Shakti hers...

by this time the audience have understood tht Shiv and Shakti are inseperable but evry event does not need involvement of both the entities.. they are still very much active independantly..!

and secondly @bold..!! i don't know whether the way they present the characters or what.. Most of the times (started only after Jalandhar) tht Mahadev complains of his inability to do anything..!!

if we rember his pre marriage days Mahadev was pretty active doing stuffs, killing demons.. and it was the time wen he was not Officially united with Shakti..!!

I believe tht though one and the same Shiv Shakti have thier own individuality.. something which has been now turned into dependancy rather than a confidance and mutual trust

There are two ways of looking at ShivShakti..
One way is, they are the same n inseparable.. which is true..

Other way is,they are polar opposites , inseparable, complimentary n complete each other..together they are called parabhrahman...the ultimate reality..the supreme god..which is also true..

However, even if one views them as the same entity or complimentary entities..the truth is, to speak of one is to speak of another...n there is absolutely no scope for a fight in order to decide who is greater than who..they are both great n together they r the greatest..

But both of them have their own respective roles to play..n the legends in our puranas pertaining to each entity depict their individual role n importance.. n it is important to preserve the sanctity of such legends so that the role of each entity is crystal clear which in turn leaves no room for a fight regarding who is greater than who.. n that is precisely where dkdm went horribly wrong..they did not preserve the sanctity of legends instead in order to involve mahadev in every track they got carried away n ended up distorting our legends n thereby giving rise to all this negativity surrounding Aadi Shakthi's portrayal in the show..

Moreover, I dont feel there is anything wrong in insinuating that mahadev cannot move a muscle without parvathi..bcoz its true..mahadev is static whereas parvathi is dynamic...n "Shiva without Shakthi is shava"..that is where it came from..but y is it such a bad thing?.. m sure mahadev wouldn't mind..its not an insult in anyway rather a compliment to his marital life..

Andhak was defeated with the help of Badrakaali as Veerbhadra could not have destroyed him alone because he could clone himself like Rakhtabeej and Badrakaali was needed to defeat Andhak. It was not forced but actual part of the story.

Jalandhar story too if u look at it Parvati was the reason why he was killed so her involvement is necessary in the story. I infact question that whole track because they never gave importance to Vrinda or her sacrifice.

Devi Parvati is Lord Shiva's power which is why she is by his side. The power or energy of Shiva is Shakti, his spouse. Shiva is inseparable from Shakti. There is no Shiva without Shakti and no Shakti without Shiva, the two are one consciousness and the absolute state of being.

If u remember the famous dialogue Shiv hi Parvati, Parvati hi Shiv.
As far as killing demons we have been saying this why can't DKDM show stories as mentioned in purans some deviations are fine with emotions but why not show stories more or less as mentioned in greater texts.
