ASTI was a wife of Shiva? Kamsa's wives were Asti & Prapti.
I'm forgetting - who founded Rajgriha again? I thought it was Jarasandha or his father, one of them, since that was the name of Jarasandha's capital. Or maybe it was just a generic word that meant capital.

Read the clue once again. Kamsa's wife turns around to become Shiva'wife.

Asti was not Shiva's wife, but if you turn her around, you will get Shiva's wife

In that case, 8 across would be SATI
I give up - I dunno who founded Magadha's capital. Wasn't it around when Sumitra married Dasharath?

Yup, Sati is correct.
The clue says 'Son found ...' not founded.

'Found '- meaning past tense of find.

Nothing to do with the founder of Magadha
