1 Ac Hanuman, Parashuram, Bali - CHIRANJIV

2 Dn Asura whom Indra killed- VRITRA

8 Ac Kamsa's wife turns around to become Shiva's wife : SATI

Kamsa's wife was ASTI. Turn that around and you get SATI

6 Dn Sacred Leaf : VILVA / BILVA

11 Ac Great Knowledge - MAHAVIDYAS

10 Down : Son found in a Capital city, somewhere in Magadha : PATALIPUTRA

Son is PUTRA, Capital of Magadha is PATALIPUTRA

10 Across: Compiler of Yoga Sutras (9) PATANJALI

13 Across: Arjuna got to see the whole world on the battlefield (10) VISHWAROOP

5 Down: Vaikunth's doorkeeper, also Parvati's friend? (6) VIJAYA

Clues for the ones not solved as yet:

3 Down: Ganga's neighbour, yet is found in the sky (7)

Think of something that is found in the sky and still resides beside Ganga (related to Shiva, obviously) The fourth letter will be N

7 down: When Anandi lost her heart and became a vehicle (5)

'lost heart' in Crossword terminology usually means to remove the middle letter/s (the heart) of a certain word. Here Anandi once has 'lost her heart' , see if you can get the name of a vehicle (related to Shiva, naturally)

15 Across: Pavitra totally shattered in front of Shiva's wife (7)

Again , a typical cryptic crossword clue. 'Shattered', 'disturbed', are all indications that one word (usually the one that is shattered/ disturbed )in the clue has to be re arranged to give the answer.

12 Down: A Mother- in law gives birth? (7)

I am surprised no one has cracked this. I thought it was fairly straight forward. Think of words that relate to 'giving birth' (not in English, naturally) and see if you can get the name of a certain Mother - in - Law .

Hope all of you can crack it now.
