Comparing Neha or Sona w/ Pooja is not the same thing. Sona did not replace Mouni - she played a different character altogether. Similarly, Neha didn't replace Sona - she too played a different character. While there was a debatable justification on Mohit playing Jalandhar, the same would
not apply to Sona playing Vrinda, since there was mythologically no known connection b/w Parvati & Vrinda.
I don't recall Sona fans ever hating Neha - the coverage & support Neha got was appropriate. But this is unprecedented, where Sona loses her position to Pooja - Parvati herself is changed, and that's jarring to the eye. While many Mouni fans wanted her to continue as Parvati, there were some - such as me - who thought that the Sati role suited her, but not Parvati's. Similarly, I can recall nobody who wanted Sona to play Vrinda. So the comparisons b/w Pooja replacing Sona to Sona 'replacing' Neha, or vice versa, is totally a wrong analogy. Sona being replaced as Parvati would be the same as the former Menavati actress being replaced by the current one, or Falaq Naz being replaced by Ragini for Lakshmi.
