PLus, Mahadev and Parvati had no relation to this story, and not even to Putrakameshti Yagna. Even THAT was not shown properly. I mean, in a yagna, all the people involved have to be present their and pour the ahuti into the fire and other rituals, right? Here Kausalya is missing, Kaikeyi Sumitra are chatting, Dasaratha is wandering around, and hey presto! The Yagna is over! Most idle Yagna I have ever seen - where we can just do whatever we want!
