Ive never heard this story...
Cvs have had so many made up twisted stories
Honestly...its hard to diffrenciate between what is truth and what is fiction..

Ive bourne with the show with one and a half years...seen thier cooked up stories...
So i stopped trusting them...LONG time back

They have twisted each n every story to suit thier needs...

I wont be surprised if im not the ONLY one app

And Foram ,Do not consider this as Fiction. It is narrated in Some another version of Ramayan.😛

100 years from now DKDM Ramayan will also be known as another version of Ramayan and some people will be saying this is not fiction its mentioned in DKDM Ramayan😆

No, in the version I have heard, it is Dasaratha who finds the box and wonders if there is any treasure inside it.

He opens the box and finds only one gem- that is to say- a gem of a girl.

He is enchanted by her looks and marries her then and there.

I don't know where Ganesha comes anywhere in this.

First, I don't think the DKDM Ramayan will last a 100 years or even if it does (thanks to electronic media), it will hardly have any sanctity.

And if by chance it does, then perhaps it does deserve to take its place alongside Valmiki's Tulsi's and Kamban's Ramayan

Kaushalya and Dashrath was given boon by Narayan long long back in another Kalpa that he will be born to them thrice

So
they became

Kashyap Aditi- Son Vaman

Dashrath Kaushalya Son Ram

Vasudev Devaki - Son Krishna

Story goes that a Rishi and his wife did Tapas and asked the lord that they want a son like him. Now the rule of giving says that if you cant give what the seeker is asking for, then what you can give you should make it three times and give

Lord said I am incapable of granting your wish as there is no one like me

So I will be born to you thrice

And Ravan was no Kansa he didnt attack Ram or Kaushalya

BTW - They were Lord Narayan Devotees not Lord Shiva Devotees
Kashyap Aditi-
Dashrath Kaushalya
Vasudev Devaki

and BTW Aditi was Sati's sister and Godess Paravati knew here also then why did Goddes Parvati ask who she is.

Ok so they have not gone by this version too

You say dashrath finds kaushalaya but here they are showing she is already married and mahadev finds her

Would still say this cant be called fiction?

If CVs are already twisting a relatively unknown story connected to Ramayan simply to give more credit to Mahadev (sure, the show is about Mahadev...), I shudder to think what they'll end up doing to Mahabharat - if & when they decide to show that too.

OK, uptil the part in which Ravan put the box in the water, everything is right. Rest is total crap.
Kausalya was not even married at the time of this incident, and it was Dasaratha who saved her, not Ganesh for God's sake. Thy are stealing Dasaratha's bravery. He should sue Ganes- err... the CVs for not giving him credit for this act!

PLus, Mahadev and Parvati had no relation to this story, and not even to Putrakameshti Yagna. Even THAT was not shown properly. I mean, in a yagna, all the people involved have to be present their and pour the ahuti into the fire and other rituals, right? Here Kausalya is missing, Kaikeyi Sumitra are chatting, Dasaratha is wandering around, and hey presto! The Yagna is over! Most idle Yagna I have ever seen - where we can just do whatever we want!

No Nandini- this is not fiction...This is PULP FICTION...!!!!!!!

I would like to hurl the choicest expletives at the CVs.. Outrageous...unbelievable...I feel cheated that I gave them the benefit of doubt.

Oh that's certain...

Mahadev will whisper Bhagavata Gita to Krishna who will obediently repeat it to Arjuna.
