Anyways..I seriously don't get the point..as to why they have to show a love story btwn JV.. when it was out n out an arrange marriage..!!

Let's see what the writer has in his mind..waiting for the Main story to begin..!!

The depiction of Vrinda maybe getting accolades from one quarter but is beyond me as to how they intend to build the track with Jalandhar and Narayan.
Not so happy with the progression of this track and Vrinda. Hope next week is more purposeful and we get to see this track moving ahead. Till than it will be a drag and how can they hurt Vishnu's image. Someone on twitter had asked UT "I wouldnt want Narayan 2 b tainted in Vrinda's story Itz been never done on d show. Only Indra can do such things" to which he has responded like this, "Yes. That's a tough one. You'll know soon enough :)...!!!

vrish, i love ur post as i do wid all ur posts..vrinda is seriously becoming a pain wid her bhashans which actually are not needed..the creatives shud leave the imparting knowledge to mahadev and his family..it suits them, not the others..esp wid the whole pros and cons of war bit..so no am not happy..

Do any of the Vishnu puranas have Vrinda's story? I'd be surprised if they do, since it would be rather damning. Vishnu stories do have a tendency to make everybody Lakshmi to try & cover up Vishnu's amorous activities, but that notwithstanding, Vrinda is known only as Jalandhar's wife. After all, why would Lakshmi choose to be born as the daughter of an asura who had few redeeming qualities about him, and wasn't even a top asura in the league of Tarakasura, Mahishashur or Jalandhar? It just doesn't make any sense.

And if this serial doesn't ultimately show Vrinda marrying Jalandhar, it would beg the question - why introduce her in the first place? Since they've said that Parvati has to regain her memory for Shiva to defeat Jalandhar, it seems to suggest that Jalandhar may not be killed by tainting his wife, in which case, Vrinda would be unneeded. I too doubt that they'll show Parvati asking Vishnu to taint Vrinda, which would then beg the question of what role exactly does she play? Just mentally torturing Jalandhar, like she is now?

Anu, I agree w/ you - the bhashans should be exclusively Mahadev's or Parvati's - even Vishnu or Lakshmi annoy me when they go about their bhashans, which in a bigger context is often hypocritical. And it's even more annoying to see Vrinda in that role.

the problem happening here is they are mixing two versions making a khichdi

ideally they should have stuck to one version only-not to forget thier whole added masala is a bit weird!

Vrindas story has ,multiple versions,multiple interpretations-they have put thier hands into too many versions,now its sounding a bit messy!

i mean for starters Vrindas main characteristic is supposed to be that she is Pativrata-thats IT!

for starters they make a whole "love story"-ok till there ok

then they make her a Vishnu Bhakt-ok till there also fine!!

but noow they are showing her giving gyaan to Jalandhar about the Asur-Devta war!

it sounds strange,it almost makes her sound like a hypocrite cos she keeps changing sides in her arguments-sometimes she supports the Devtas,sometimes the Asurs

you seriously doubt her loyalties!-it sounds really weird

Vrindas character is supposed to be soft,devoted,pious and pure-so far i havent seen any such characteristic i her!

they have made her a "strong warrior princess" type here!-she wasnt...

Infact of what i have heard in the relation Jalandhar is supposed to have the upper hand-be strong,cold calculating and she the complete opposite...

they are making the Jalandhar Vrinda story very confusing-either they should have stuck to being a Pativrata or a Vishnu Bhakt!

thier version has made her na Ghar ki Na Ghat ki!-its a bit confusing!

about the Vishnu part,even i am sure they are going to whitewash it-

but i think Vrinda should stop advicing Jalandhar-i mean thats a Guru's job right?

why doesnt Shukrachrya say something😆

So agree with your post Vrish. Not happy with how they are showing Vrinda. they are trying to show her to be powerful which could be good in a sense but she sounds more like a gyan guru than a vaidya.
This is not how we have known Vrinda playing around with the story to some level is fine but altering it completely is not fair. Maybe like you say she might be shown doing gandharva vivah with Narayan who comes in the disguise of Jalandhar.

if story's from net are to be believed then... these people(dkdm) did change vishnu's role during vrishab avatar(scorpion avatar) of shiva...

soo may be they will do a make over of the story again... 🥳

first of all cvs are doing major blunder by showing jallu-vrinda love story which never exist only...its a complete waste of time...jallu married vrinda for using her as a suraksha kawaach for him...and vrinda was totally devoted to vishnu...i don't think she ever thought of any other guyy other than vishnu...neha is doing a great job but the way she is being potrayed is not correct..

Agree with u... If anyone has exclusive rights to give lectures in this show.. its Mahadev...!!

(even Parvati doesn't do that often.. coz its solely Mahadev's dept)😆
