Wow, amazing banners Vicky and Shruti! Both of them are SO cute!
Shruti, I really love the layout of your banner. The way you colored Shiv-Sati-Parvathi and made the others monochromatic was genius, loved it a lot!

That would be a new challenge for Saurabh Raj Jain - to do a Dustin Hoffmann and play Mohini's role. It can't be done by any actress - it'll have to be done by him only 😈 Can't wait to see it 😆

They will be showing Samudra manthan, only hope they don't skip this Mohini part. That track is so important. Was there any powerful Asura at that time?

If Samudra Manthan is the next thing they show, then Taki would by default be the asura ruler, given that Kartikeya hasn't slain him. In the actual Samudra Manthan story, there was no asura leader - the only ones we know of are Rahu/Ketu, but there is nothing to suggest that they were leading the pack, just that they were suspicious of Mohini. There is nothing to suggest that Taki was around when Samudra Manthan happened. Or Vritra.

But is the Samudra Manthan story there in the Shiva Purana? What Shiva did there was important, yet that whole thing was more of a Narayan project, and the only thing Shiva did was drink the Halahala. Whenever I read about the Samudra Manthan episode, Mahadev's role always seems peripheral - almost like Rahu-Ketu drinking the amrit. So I wonder whether they would (or should) be showing that entire story, given that it was Vishnu who organized and drove this entire activity.

The other reason they can't show it - how could they then show Lakshmi emerging from the ocean to marry Vishnu, since in the serial, she's already married to Vishnu? Unless they decide not to show that. Unless they cause Lakshmi to leave Vishnu, and return via this event.

Other thing they could do now - get to the sacrifice of Dadhichi, & Indra killing Vritra story. Then show Durvasa's curse flashback, and get to the Samudra Manthan thing. Ideally, however, it would be better if Samudra Manthan happened after the killing of Taki. Anyone know whether Kartikeya and Ganesh were around @ the time?

As the show is about Lord Shiva,i guess they will show the samudra manthan as Shiv had saved the world once again by drinking the Halahala and he was also called Neelkanth after that.So that's an important aspect which i don't think the cvs will ignore.
The samudra manthan was mentioned by Vishnu just few episodes back.He had told Indra that because of his bad behaviour,Lakshmi had left the vaikunth and she will come back only after the samudra manthan. So as Vishnu had already mentioned it,i think they will show it.

Vishnu mentioned that Lakshmi had left, and then she showed up in Shiva-Parvati's wedding? I thought that some original stories had it that Lakshmi left b'cos of Bhrigu kicking Vishnu, and the latter just accepting the insult, which Lakshmi thought was insulting. I doubt that Indra had anything to do w/ it.
