A/N - Hello, It's me. I was wondering..eh never mind. Hello everyone, hope you've been well. It has been quite a while, since I last posted an update. It was extremely lousy of me to leave it hanging so I apologize for that. I've just had a lot happening in my personal and professional life. I was in a pit that I dug for myself to drown in because I refused to face the harsh reality that lay in front of me. The mind is a deadly place to wander into because you let your depressing thoughts consume you and they ultimately make you do things you never wanted to do. I try my very best not to rummage through my mind when I'm alone. It took me a while to get out from there and face the reality that stared me right in the eye but I finally did it. I'm not stating this because I crave sympathy and want you guys to understand why I did not update. No, please don't feel sorry for me because I am an idiot for starting something and leaving it hanging there. That's all on me. I'm sorry, once again. I'm a blubbering mess all the time but I do eventually overcome it. Here's to hoping 2016 brings us a bunch of sunshine! If anyone would like to talk to me about anything that's happening to them, please do feel free to contact me. I'm here for you. I know how hard life can be, I really do. Please don't feel like it's all over, stay strong and fight for your life because you only live once. Make it worth living for. ❤️That was a long paragraph and half whew. 😆 Now, on with the story. Thank you so so so much for the lovely comments and likes you all left for me here! They are awesome! 😳 So I made this installment as long as I possibly could, another one is on its way because I owe that. Hope you enjoy it and do leave a review to let me know what your thoughts are on it. :)
"I'd like to book one room for a couple of days, please." Luck was on my side for once. I managed to find a pretty good hotel to stay in after all. Uday Nivas Palace, I believe was the name. It was nice, surprisingly. I had received nothing but disappointment since the day I arrived here up until now so it was rather a pleasant change. The man on the opposite side of the desk stared at me, taking in the disheveled little girl that was I. His gaze lingered at certain places longer than necessary, how typical. Rolling my eyes nonchalantly, I tapped on the wooden desk. Hard.
"Eyes up here, sunshine." His stare faltered slightly as he quickly diverted his lingering gaze and fumbled around with what I presumed to be a key. Lord spare me if it was anything else. "Room 101 is yours for as long as you'd like, ma'am." He nervously handed me a key, cautious of my evident temper beginning to slowly surface. I yanked the darned thing from him and slapped a few notes of cash on the desk in advance. Turning around swiftly I made my way towards the sign that read 'stairway'. I opened the door to my temporary room, closing it shut as I got in. I looked around for the light switch and turned it on, illuminating the entire room that lay in front of me. I looked around for any hidden cameras or anything creepy that could endanger my safety but it was clean. A large bed was occupied near the window attached to a balcony, it was so inviting. The place was pretty neat, very clean and sophisticated. The complete opposite of me, I realized. I seriously needed a good shower so I dumped my bag carelessly on the floor before rummaging through it to find the toiletries bag and headed towards what I assumed to be a bathroom. It was. Again, I looked around for any hidden cameras but didn't find any, thankfully.Stripping out of my nasty clothing, I stepped into the shower and welcomed the cold water pouring down from the faucet before it turned hot. Tensed up muscles began to relax as I closed my eyes and relaxed completely. Dark, cynical eyes flashed in front of me. Ugh. That class a-hole. I grumbled, cussing myself for thinking about that imbecile. I'd encountered enough men worth none of my time, clearly he was among one of them. I hope we never cross each other's path ever again, let's keep world war 3 at bay. Yawning contentedly as arms stretched outwards, I rolled over and planted my face against the fluffy cushion. This was nice, really nice. Hell, it was freaking awesome! It felt like such an age since I last lay my head against something remotely close to the soft goodness that was a bed and a bunch of pillows. I wanted to stay tucked in here for as long as I could. And that's exactly what I did. "Sweet glorious sleep.." I murmured, allowing the darkness to take me once again. I slept my way through the entire morning and mid afternoon with such ease, that I wanted to stay asleep for longer. But alas, I couldn't keep my hungry belly down any longer. I hadn't eaten in quite a while, I hated to admit that it was actually starting to have an impact on me. I groaned, forcing myself to sit up the warm bed. Beams of sunlight hit my iris like a load of bricks as I came to the realization that I had not closed the darn curtains the previous night. I mean, I couldn't really be bothered. I just wanted to sleep. So badly. I stretched my arms whilst yawning, relishing the feel of tensed muscles relaxing. Oh darn, I was so hungry. Grudgingly I stepped away from the warm and inviting bed in order to feed the devil that was my stomach. "Right. Time to face the world." The blaring music almost shattered my eardrums as I soon realized walking into the bar was a terrible, terrible idea. It was absolutely packed. I had to push my way through the drunken crowd in order to get drunk myself. Although legally, I wasn't allowed anywhere near alcohol considering I was just 20. But what the hell, who cared anyway. Besides, I was turning 21 sometime this year. That should count, right? Couldn't say the same thing for the bartender who refused to even give me a glass of water, let alone any form of alcohol."Come on dude, I'm over 20 and perfectly capable of handling my alcohol!" I argued back, hoping he would believe me. He looked at me, placing his hands on either side of the table and leaning in towards me."Listen, don't give me those puppy eyes. I am not going to land in jail for giving drinks to a child!" He retorted.
Slamming my palm against the counter, I leaned forward to appear more menacing than I already was. Sadly it wasn't working as he rolled his eyes and turned around so I was facing his back while he served the customers on the opposite side of the bar."Now look here Mr.You-are-starting-to-piss-me-off" I hissed, knowing perfectly well he could hear me."I'm gonna say this once and when I'm done, I better have my drinks ready." Before I could continue, he turned around with the biggest smile I'd ever seen on a man's face. He stepped towards me slightly with his overly fake smile plastered on his face and placed his hands against the counter."What can I get you, sweet young lady?"The sheer falseness dripping from each and every word of his was sickening. I wasn't sure if I wanted to order anything anymore. I leaned back slightly, examining the pompous abomination that was the freak in front of me. He looked as though he was about to burst, literally."Why the sudden change in mood, banner?" I questioned, tilting my head to the side."My boss is right behind me and I ain't getting fired because of you!" He hissed, quite literally.
