A/N - Hello everyone, my name is Sadie and i'm a new member around here. 😳So an idea just popped into my head as I watched Dekha ek khwaab for the second time, it was an itch to write down something to be honest. I really liked this show as it was, but it had so much potential for a better story line and character development. But it never occurred in the way I hoped it would have after a while, you know. It left me frustrated and annoyed at times when things just did not go accordingly and instead went in circles. I just really want to try and portray my version of the show, sort of speaking. I will also change a couple of things related to the back story of some characters and hopefully try and express my version of DEK in my own style. My Hindi isn't that great so everything will be in English, but I will probably have few Hindi dialogues here and there. Um, if you read all of that, thank you so much lol 😳

PrologueLife is unpredictable. There are things that are frightening yet beautiful in a way, and things that are beyond remarkable yet unsettling in its very own way. It's not easy dealing with circumstances beyond comprehension but when life throws you into the darkness, giving up is not an option.Here I was, trapped in a dream land. A land so beautiful and perfect that it was scary. To the outside world this was perhaps beyond any of that but for me, it was hell. A living nightmare that I desperately wanted to escape from. I could easily be flawed for being selfish, stubborn, arrogant and downright violent because no one could ever put themselves in my shoes and see what was happening through my tiring eyes.I was merely a piece in this wicked game of chess, being used to unite two kingdoms. My life was being controlled by people I hadn't even heard of, let alone call them my family all of a sudden.How could I even pretend to be happy when my mind, my body and my soul was trapped? So badly trapped that no matter how hard I tried, I was never able to escape.Everything and everyone was against me, leaving me alone and vulnerable. Trying to somehow believe any of this was almost impossible when you were constantly reminded that you were someone's keep. A bride to be when all your life, the concept of marriage was always unappealing and ugly. No matter how hard I tried, I always ended back into this world which I did not belong into. I always ended up in his world, a world so dark and cruel that it made me shiver with the mere thought of it. Would I ever be able to free myself from his world? In another world this may have been the best thing that ever happened to me but in this world, it was by far the worst of everything I had gone through.

"No matter which road you choose, it will ultimately lead you back to me, princess."He was like a second shadow. Catching me at every step of the way leaving no room for escaping.

"So if needed, I'll take a road that will lead me somewhere else entirely. Further away from you, far away from anyone and everyone. Forever."It was a game of cat and mouse, a predator and its prey. A game I had unwillingly and unknowingly become part of.Who knew coming here was going to change the entire course of my entire life.

Wow he seems like a jerk and a user{like Uday he is😆 playboy), but somewhere he's possessive of Manyata and wants her for himself but Manyata likes her old world i wonder why😆 and is zero interested in him and wants to escape😕 she has been used Her life is a mess. I can feel her right now, the words you've used, shows her painful journey so far, and how she felt.😭 Great word choice!👏

She had a rough start I hope she has a happy ending...

Some crazy, dark love story can't wait to witness this! I wonder how they'll fall in love!!!!

I am trying to follow as closely to the actual show as possible, so he will have the same characteristics as he did in the show but, hopefully portrayed in a different manner so that he doesn't look like a complete villain *crosses fingers* And yes, she's had a sad life in the past but he sort of ends up dulling that life for her by bringing her into his world, which is more profound and suffocating for her.
