Chapter 3

Past:

'Manyata was wandering here and there, she was frustrated after exploring the cupboard, which had no suitable nighty, all of them were to exposing and lacy.

God Damn!!!! What should I wear now, nevertheless I am going to sleep in this heavy outfit...she picked up many but all were same. Irritated she sat back on the bed, which was decorated like her. She touched the flower strings which were hanging on the bed, and the rose petals which were playing the role of bed sheet.

*sigh* stupid marriage, who knows that two strangers are going to live here.

The creaking of the door got her alarmed and she stood instantly.

Hello Wifey! Udayveer gave her
a cheesy smile, to which she returned with a horrible one.

Kia baat hai, you didn't change yet? Kuch krnay ka irada to nahin? He rubbed his hands and winked at her.

Such a flirt! She thought.

No, I just wanted to change. There's,,,cut off by uday.

Shall I help?

She turned around and was surprised to see him so close to her, there faces were just a cm away, Manyata's breath got stuck in her throat, when she saw him look at her in the eye.

Here, take this. He handed her a bag.

She opened it and found a nighty, which was decent enough to wear, but was knee length.

I knew you were looking for this, sorry it's knee length, but I could only get this decent one at this hour.

You went now? She asked in daze.

Yup, he nodded.

She smiled warmly and thanked him, she was feeling so happy with his cute gesture, how come he knew her inner turmoil? Weird!!!

Present:

PARIS the city of love, Manyata's home town since last 6 years. She just loved this place. The place where she fell in love, the place where she realized it. Whenever she walked in the streets, when the wind blew her hair, she always felt like it was tomorrow, when he was there, with her holding her hand tight. She shifted here after a lot of hardships, how much had she gone through afrer he disappeared. How her life twisted, how she lost everything. She came to Paris and engaged herself in work.

Past:

Manyata somehow gathered the courage to go outside, wearing that nighty. To her luck, Udayveer wasn't there, she quickly jumped on the bed and covered herself with the blanket.

Udayveer came inside switched on the t.v. Took the remote, sat on the left side of the bed and covered himself with the same blanket. He was watching some stupid English movie and was looking at Manyata with the corner of his eyes, she was also sitting and watching the movie. Both were quietly watching, Manyata got nervous and embarrassed when a very erotic scene came, she closed her eyes. And Udayveer was amused looking at her and he got a very evil plan to tease her.

After the scene was over Manyata gave a tiny look at Udayveer and her eyes pooped out of their sockets. A long tent was made under the blanket, between his legs and she literally was starting at it. Udayveer flew the blanket away and showed her the remote. Manyata was so so embarrassed and she had turned red. Hell she thought that it was his erection, but it was the stupid dumbo remote and his plan to tease her.

Totally embarrassed she slipped inside the blanket while udayveer was laughing holding his stomach, long time he hadn't laughed so much.

Ahh, It'll be fun with her, he thought and lay back.

Past:

The rays of sun hit her face, and she made a childish face, and unknowingly hugged her new teddy bear UDAYVEER. He hugged her back. They looked so cute like that hugging each other unknowingly. Manyata opened her eye and smiled, she cuddled in his embrace but suddenly got up realizing what was she doing. Due to her sudden jerk Udayveer got up as well, Manyata quickly ran to the bathroom taking her clothes, while Udayveer smiled to himself.

Past:

Udayveer was still lying on the bed and Manyata came out wearing a red anarkali, looking like a divine beauty, her pink cheeks made her look so like a doll and to enhance her beauty her wet hairs were covering her face, Udayveer was lost, lost in her innocent face, Udayveer looked at her in the eye, fear was evident.

Udayveer's POV:

Fear? Why and what is she scared of? Me? No not me. Why do I feel bad, when I see her sad? Why it pains me? No no, it doesn't.

End of POV.

Manyata breaking the eye-lock, went to grab her dupatta which was placed on the bed. Udayveer saw her coming, she was about to pick her dupatta but Udayveer took it before her. Manyata looked at him in confusion.

Please give me that, she requested him. Udayveer jumped of the bed her dupatta was snaked in his neck.

Catch me if you can.

Please, please give it back.

You need it back?

She nodded innocently.

Okay take it, he brought it near her, before she could hold it he pulled it back, he did the same thing twice but stopped for the third time when he saw tears in her eyes. He felt guilty of his behavior and went near her, slightly putting the dupatta in her neck, she looked up at him, her tears fell out of her eyes on their own but before they could reach the ground, he caught them in his hands. And mentioned her not to cry by moving his head. Unknowingly his hands reached up her face to clean the rest. He himself was surprised of what he did.

Past:

Days were passing nicely, and their bond was becoming more steady. They became good friends and were having a great time. Udayveer was so happy with his life that not even for once remembered the reason of this marriage BETHEL his love or we could say just a mere attraction. She was busy with some work so was not in contact with him. And he was GLAD.

It had been a month they got married and Udayveer was always out for work, this thing got Udayveer's parents attention and they decided to send them out for their HONEYMOON. They arranged everything without telling him.

Next day Udayveer and Manyata were called and were handed the tickets to PARIS for one whole month. They were compelled to leave the very night. They left quietly and after that the real journey began. The journey of. FRIENDSHIP, CARE, POSSESSIVENESS, HURT, REJECTION LOVE & REALIZATION.

Past:

They reached the hotel, Manyata was loving this place since she had entered. She was really happy, but her happiness was short lived. Udayveer got a call from bethel and got to know that she was there too, he made an irritated face and continued to act as if he had missed her a Lot. He cut the call and walked in the room.

Hey wifey, why don't you freshen up, anyways bethel is coming to meet me. He told her.

The instant she heard her name, her face fell and all her happiness was trashed. Which was noticed by Udayveer too. Damn he was hating bethel at the moment.

Past:

Hey baby I missed you so much, bethel almost jumped on uday. She was literally clinging to him like a magnet, seeing their intimacy Manyata felt uncomfortable and sad. She felt like punching her. Somehow he managed to move away from her but her next step shocked both. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pecked his lips, Manyata felt disgusted and hurt.

Girl? She snapped her fingers in front of Manyata.

Manyata looked up at her with hurtful eyes.

Will you please excuse us, I mean we ,need some privacy. She said rudely.

she nodded hurtfuly, she opened the door to leave, looked up and found him staring at her, she turned around to leave when she heard bethel's words and felt as if someone was choking her.

Honey, let's make out, it's been so long since we've spent a night together.

Manyata felt hurt and dejected, she left the room with tears. Udayveer was not liking what was happening, he did not like the way she talked to Manyata.

Past:

Manyata sat on the bench and was admiring the beauty if nature, but bethel's words were still haunting her.

Why am I thinking like this, he belongs to her not me, and this is my fate, I have accepted this and I'll have to live like this. She cried sitting alone and dozed off on the bench itself. Udayveer was looking for Manyata, he was feeling guilty because of bethel's behavior, she was out since the morning, she didn't even eat anything, just because if that despo who wasn't ready to leave him, only he knows how he got rid if her. Udayveer caressed his eyebrows in tension when he saw a slender figure sleeping on the bench. He sighed in relief, as if his life had returned.
He keeled in front of her and adored her. How beautiful she looked while sleeping, no one in the world was so innocent like her, he feels like a man with emotions when he is with her, like he to is a common man, a person with feelings, she makes him feel worthy. He lovingly caressed her cheeks and pushed a strand of hair behind her ear smiling, he picked her up in his arms making sure he doesn't disturbs her sleep. Udayveer walked in with her in his arms looking at them all the people around smiled. Reaching the room he placed her on the bed, lovingly covered her with the blanket. He was having this urge to kiss this sleeping beauty, unable to control he kissed her forehead and slept next to her.

Next morning ManVeer woke up, with the cold breeze which was caressing their faces tenderly. Udayveer was greeted ny Manyata's warm smile and a cup of coffee.

Thanks wifey, he winked at her cutely.

There was a knock on the door, Udayveer went to open it, the manager of the hotel gave him the invitation card of a party which was held the very night and it was only for the honeymoon couples, Udayveer happily accepted the invitation. As soon as he closed the door, there was a knock again, and this time it was bethel, she greeted him and seeing the card in his hands she snatched it from him.

Ahh, great we both can go tonight. She stated in excitement!

Udayveer didn't knew why but he did not liked the idea so he gave a cold reply, that he wasn't feeling well and didn't wanted to go. Even Manyata's face fell listening to bethel's statement. She thought that she could go with him, how stupid she is.
Udayveer somehow managed to get rid of bethel telling he isn't well. He was revealed when she left.

Past:

In the evening, Manyata was sitting in the balcony and uday was watching t.v. , he saw the time it was 6 in the evening. 8 pm the party would start so He called Manyata and asked her to get ready.

Why? Where are we going?

She was standing in the middle of the room, Udayveer gave her a serious look and took a step forward, she took a step back and he again forward, this continued until she collided with the wall, she looked deeply into his eyes, without blinking, both his hands were on the wall trapping her. She was breathing heavily, because of his closeness, no distance was between them, not even a cm. Her heart was beating at a jet speed, Udayveer could feel it. He came closer to her face, tilting his face, he whispered huskily into her ear.

So, you think I didn't see your falling face? Why I told bethel that I am unwell, when I am not? Hmm, I know you wanted to go. His nose was brushing her ear and cheeks, which was makin her go weak in the knees
And the chilling sensation which was making her go faint. He ran his fingers on her exposed back seductively, Manyata clutched his back tightly, because she did not had more strength to stand, she felt she would melt into his arms any moment, there beautiful moment was broken by another knock on the door. Udayveer composed himself and opened the door, the man standing outside gave him a package and went away. Manyata was still standing there, Udayveer gave her the package.

This is for you, he smiled. I would love it if you will wear it tonight. Manyata agreed to wear the dress.
She was having goosebumps knowing the fact that Udayveer lied to that despo only for her, she felt elated and overwhelmed. Did he really do that for her? She felt she is on cloud 9. Taking the package happily in her hands, she walked over to the bathroom.

Present:

Manyata sat on the arm chair, beside the fire place sipping hee coffee, it was too cold outside. She was lost in her own world, she was just a body who was living a unlively life, her soul went away with him, she had died the very day...she remembered how there first party as a official couple was. She still feels his cent in her every thought.

Past:

Manyata was finding it difficult to zip up the gown, it was a long white gown, which had no steps, she did feel weird but she did not wanted to disappoint him. Irked by the steps she frowned in irritation. Manyata instantly closed her eyes, when his cold hands touched her bare back, swiftly he zipped her gown.

It's done, he whispered into her ears, sending chills down her spine, slightly brushing his nose on her ear. Udayveer took back steps and reaching the door he told her to come soon, as he was waiting downstairs, wearing a black armani suit.

Down she walked nervously, Udayveer glanced up, his impatient eyes met her nervous ones, she was gazing directly into his heart and soo was he. Udayveer was mesmerized by her beauty, she was simple yet to beautiful, never in his life he came across such a gorgeous girl. Bethel was pretty but not like her, she had something different in her which was pulling Udayveer very strongly towards her. To him an Angel was walking down, wearing a pure white dress, so pure like her, her beautiful hair let down in curls, with a slight hump made on her head and a elegant tiny crown adorning her hair.
She walked down wearing her crystal stilettos. Udayveer stared at her without even blinking. He was totally fascinated. She came down and stood in front of him, she was looking at him assuming a slight scowl and he was staring with lots of passion with twinkling eyes.

Shall we go? She said with lots of nervousness.

He didn't reply just kept staring.

Hmmm? She again asked

No reply.

Are you listening? She said innocently.

No reply.

Udd,,aa,,yy,,Vee,,,r!! She called him from his name for the first time, so she was stammering.

Again no reply.

Next moment Udayveer shrieked in pain.

Hey, what are you doing, Ouch, he said rubbing his arm on which Manyata had pinched, to bring him back to senses.

I am sorry I was just, sorry!! She completed pouting. Udayveer smiled and said its okay. He offered her his hand to her. Hand in hand they walked, everyone's eyes were glued to them, how perfect they looked together.

Past:

Manyata felt very uncomfortable, seeing the people kissing and dancing so intimately. She stood in the farthest corner, sipping her juice away from others. But many eyes were on her, checking out her every curve, she felt self conscious and was looking for Udayveer who had gone out to answer a call. She was looking here ans there when a guy came near her.

Hey, baby wanna dance, his flirtious tone scared Manyata. She replied in a no and moved further, but the guy pulled her hand forcefully. He was drunk and was trying to kiss her. In a second hot tears had flooded her eyes. She tried pushing him but he was far to strong. He was just about to kiss her when a kick in his abdomen flew him away. The guards dragged him out of the party. It was none other than Udayveer who had kicked him. Seeing uday, Manyata hugged him immediately and cried hiding her face in his chest. Udayveer felt guilty, if he wouldn't have left her alone, it wouldn't have happened. In order to calm her, he hugged her aa tight as he could, so did she. Manyata had closed her eyes, she felt safe and protected in his embrace, her heart said never to let go, both of them were engrossed in hugging, they were so lost to even notice the spot light, which was hovering them. Everyone present there was in AWE looking at them, they looked so much in love.

Look at the two Angels. The DJ announced. His announcement brought them ro world, and they parted. Manyata got nervous and Udayveer confused.

So guys, what do you think, a romantic dance from the two? The DJ asked the crowd.

Yesss, the crazy crowd screamd.

Udayveer glanced over manyata, he knew she was upset over the past event so sat down on hia knees, forwarded his hand to her.

Can I have the pleasure to dance with you Manyata. He asked, so intensely. His eyes shined in the mid lights,his heart so warm with new kind of feelings. Manyata kept her hand into his. He got up, looking into her eyes... Her one hand into his and one hand snaked around his neck. They danced ever so elegantly, they looked as perfect as anyone. They were deaf to the the song playing, they danced on the rhythm of new feelings, the rhythm of their racing hearts. Something unknow was their, something different, something new, something that felt rite, something which was never felt before.

Everyone clapped for them, their dance was so intense and passionate.
They even got the title of LADY & MAN of the night and were given a beautiful photo frame, with their pic in which Udayveer was sitting on his knees.

Past:

After the party was over, Udayveer decided to take. Manyata out for a walk in the cool weather and show her the Eiffel tower. Rain was expected any moment. They were walking on the roads silently. Manyata was enjoying the cold breeze, when it caressed her face, she felt at peace, Udayveer was looking at her with the corner of his eyes, he enjoyed looking at her peaceful expressions.

Thanks, Manyata started the conversation.

For?

For saving me from that dum guy. She smiled.

It is my duty, to protect you. He smiled back.

Thanks again! She again thanked him.

For? He asked amused.

For bringing me to the party, and lying to your girl friend.

Its okay, moreover, I didn't like her behavior. Udayveer smiled

another thanks. She grinned at him.

Now for what? Udayveer asked shrugging.

For coming here, she pointed at the Eiffel tower.

My pleasure lady.

It's beautiful, she said mesmerized by its beauty. The way it glowed in the dark night.

Hmmm, I've always loved this place. He replied.

The winds were blowing fiercely, in moments they were soaked in rain. Udayveer quickly pulled her under a tree, to save them both from rain.

Don't you like rain? She asked him, covering her shoulders with her hands.

Not much. He replied running his hands through his wet hair.

Wanna try, Once? She asked forwarding her hand.

Ahh, not really!

Please, only once?

Okay, he gave his hand to her, and they both ran in the heavy rain. Manyata raised her hands and twirled round. Udayveer was gazing at her with intense passion. Her beautiful white skin glowing with rain drops, her curves so prominent in her white dress which was transparent now. In true sense, she seemed like a dancing doll. Unable to control his desires, he walked closer to her, very very close. Manyata collided with his chest. Her hands were resting on his chest and his on her waist. Udayveer looked directly into her eyes, rain drops falling down her eye lashes to her luscious lips, which he desperately wanted to kiss HARD. He pulled her more closer to him, minimizing the distance between their faces he raised her chin with his one hand and brought her face equal to his, they were totally drowned in the moment, forgetting who were they. Within a single second Udayveer trapped her upper lip into his, sucking on it very mildly, giving her the pleasurable feeling, which she'd never felt, she returned him the kiss equally, by gently sucking on his lower lip. Though Udayveer had kissed before but, never did he experience such a pleasure, it was more than a kiss, in a perfect weather, ever so beautiful moment, they shared, without any regrets. rain falling on them, with sounds of thunder, evolved around, standing in the middle of the road, they shared their first kiss. It was pure, heavenly, true and rite. He slowly separated from her, she was standing with closed eyes, breathing heavily, with a racing heart, not having enough power to look back at him. The rattling of winds became harder, and a loud thunder, caused another hug between them. They remained like that for long, the rain became slow, and the sun started to show it's rays. To ignore eye-contact and questions Udayveer, clutched her hand tightly into his and started running
What happened? Why are we running.? She questioned.

Wait, I have one last thing to show you.

What is it?

Just wait, he took her too the top most floor of the hotel. Both were panting. Udayveer glanced at his watch and told her to look up at the sky. She looked up and saw the most beautiful sight, the sun rising and the moving of clouds vigorously. She was astound, and without blinking she saw it.

It's Amazing! She whispered to him.

Indeed. He smiled back...

Manyata kept the empty cup back on the table sighing. She still remember that first sun rise, he showed her.

Where are you Uday? She questioned looking at the stars, with teary eyes.

Present:

Cold water was splashed onto his face, he woke up from deep slumber and opened his eye's slowly. Sharp beams of sun rays lightened the cell and The clanking of chains in his hands, feet and neck, brought him back to reality, out of his dream world, out of HER world. With that another man came inside who scolded the other one who splashed water on him.

Get out of here, you Mother Fu**ker, don't you show me your face again, I will deal with him, he is my responsibility. Get out!!!

The old man walked over and opened the cell. He sat beside the guy and wiped his face with his napkin.

I am new here son, and I've been appointed to keep a look on you. I was told to be harsh and repulsive, but son my first glance over you, memorize's me of my own son, whom I lost last year and I know you're innocent.

Fabulous update Zainab! Beautiful😳. The Manveer scenes were exquisite and I loved how you showed them becoming friends from being estranged ... then falling in love thereafter. The first kiss was too romantic 😳.

I thoroughly enjoyed the update ...

... till the last part😆. WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT😕??? How did our Hero land up in prison😭?? Is it because of that Bit*h Bethel😡?? Please continue soon ... want to read more😃.
