In Broken Images
Standing near the window, gazing out at the blowing wind. As it blew everything with it. How much this lovely dawn mattered to them, when they together sat at the hill to see the sun rising. Those rainy nights we spent together in each others arms. Being unknown to the love between us. How we met, how the circumstances got us together and then got us apart. So far that its impossible to reach there. A drop of water fell on her hand, sure she was crying again.
OH! Those golden days. When they were together. How short that time was and how hard it was to get ones love. Weren't they meant to be together. *Sigh* I will wait till my last breath.
My Dear, how much will you wait for him? Why don't you understand, the fact that he is GONE!! FOREVER!! Forget those Broken Images of your past, they are crumbled now. It's been 7 years now, He wont come back, none has till date. Please start a new life my child.
Sorry Grandma!! Did you say something? She grabbed her coat and scarf and left the place ignoring her Grandmother's words. To see the sun rising, she never missed a single day seeing it, it didn't matter even if she was dying, she would go there at any cost!!
This girl will never understand, Why God why are you so harsh with her, why did you apart them. Cannot you see their Love, its depth, its intensity. Why don't you be merciful why God why.
Manyata sat on the rock to see the sun take over all the country. Daily she came here and prayed for his comeback. She wont give up until she expired herself.
The girl now had no belief in God, but sill prayed to all.
She offered prayers 5 times a day, did pooja regularly and sat in the church for hours, still her prayers were unanswered! Seems like God is stubborn, but does he knows that she is his creation!!
Soon she got drowned in the Broken Images of her PAST!

She was looking at her documents and praying from God to get this job, unknown to the danger coming to her. She bumped into something ironic. To save herself from falling she got hold of the person's shirt and was half hanging in his arms with her white dupata on them. It was the first time when their eyes met.

That's the prologue for this SS.
The title is taken from a famous poem by Robert Graves. There is nothing to do with the poem and its meaning. It's just the title which intrigued me, hence I started a Love Saga this time. It would be different then my previous stories.
The title itself depicts what short of a story it would be, it would have the depth, the intensity and most important the Meaning of Love!!
