She looked at the wound then looked up at him, "To help you remove the
burden from your heart, a pain that would never come near u if ,I
your soul mate hadn't left this world too early.m really sorry,will u
forgive me?"asked manyata
"Shut up and keep your sorry's to yourself, I'll never forgive you!"
he shouted at her, his hands clutching into fists as he shook in
anger.
"I know you won't, but I am more concerned about your happiness more
than your forgiveness."she said Looking into his eyes
"cut the crap woman! My happiness?? U are concerned ?? ..u hav always
been a selfish woman! U are a liar,a cheater ..who left me alone to
live ,dieing every sec" he snapped

he was in jaigarh he reached 2 hrs ago ..he has been restless frm the
tym he bid bye to her,the bye was unusual,her smile was painful,her
eyes spoke nithing but love for him,why was is soo hard for him to bid
her bye?
His heart has been on roll,like he had ran about fifty miles in a
second ...an undefined pain engulfed his heart
He discarded his thoughts as one of the sadness of being away frm his
lady love ..his pregnant wife ..his life.
as soon as reached jaigarh he he completed most of his tasks ..so dat
he can go back to his wife ASAP..he was half way through a mahasbaha
meeting ..he cursed million tym for holding this meeting in jaigarh,
wen dat could hav easily be held in mumbai..sure it was one of maha
sabha decision ..after all manyata the yuvrani of devgarh-jaigarh
riyasat also an integral part mahasabhas council team has decided to
hav this meeting held in particular riyasat ,basing upon the problem
or questioned raised in maha sabha..nd jaigarh riyasat need to
reconstruct a damn Dam wall ,seriously this wasnt even needed ..the
dam wall looks perfectly fine nd it do hav capacity to hold the water
for 1 more freaking year without any reconstructions!
He was representing devgarj-jaigarh ..as manyata was on maternal break
plus she cannot travel ..due to abnormal BP level alll thnks to the
stress she takess every day,and she assures him saying its normal with
every woman during the gestation period,hell! No woman runs a riyasat
of million ppl ,handle the stress of hotelling business and keep her
family happy ..or is on toes 24*7, but she was 'manyata udayveer
singh' she has to be the wonder woman ,he has to play all her roles to
T, if she didnt would the eartn stop rotating??
UV was keenly hearing prithvi singhs wrds ..or rather say trying to
concentrate on his wrds where as his mind nd heart was wid his wife
Just then he received a text mesg frm her
"uday,i love u more than life,i really do with the every particle of me"
A smile played on his lips,his wifee dsnt leave a day before
expressing her love for him at tyms he wondered about sudden love
shower ..nd every tym she laughs nd blames the the mood swings.
he loved those mood swings of hers
"i knw ,nd i love u beyond life..take care of both my princess nd angel "
He replied nd concentrated on his meetindg,but that text gave him
shutters,his heart beats increased
" udayveer stop it u are acting as a harmonal charged teenager ..after
receiving a text frm ur wife" he thought to himself
Just then his phone rang ,he excused himself nd also apologised for
not keeping his phone on silent
Little did he knw The call was holding no gud news for him
"hello"
"dada,come back ryt now bhabhisa is in labor,nd she is adamant to go
for normal delivery ..wen doctors are suggesting C-section"
" unnati ask manyata to get the damn C-section done..m on my
way"shouted a shocked uday
,who ran like maniac towards his car
" dada, accrdng to doctors ,they can save only ...one life with e
ceasarean procedure"sobbed unnati
unnati's wrds left him flabbergasted ..save one life wat the heel he
thought,air was sucked out of his lungs ..he could hardly breath

" m here choti, ask doctors to save my ...manyata"he gulped
down his tears
he was left to choose between his wife nd their baby.
"da...daa.."sobbed unnzie
"speak unnati"hissed uday gulping down his pain
"she says she loves u ,but cannot live after killing your little
angel"said a sobbing unnati
"umm" voice hardly came out of his mouth
He instantly called her gyneacologist
"mrs.fernandez .. I manyata udayveer singhs husband,udayveer wants u
to go with C-section"he ordered, with the little courage he could
gather
"srry mr.singh we cannot go with C-section unless mother co-operates with us"
"i knw ,how stubborn my wife can get ..nd in no concious state she is
going to co-operate with u guys for C-section,give anaesthia or
watever, save my wife"he literally shouted at her
"i understnd ur worry mr.singh but we cannot operate on her ,with her
fluctuating BP level,nd the other complications"she replied calmly
"wat complications??" he spat
" look mr.singh it would be best in your interest,if i explain u
things in person" she stated,or more likely demanded his presence at
the hospital
Through out the way he was restless,he died million tyms with the
thought of loosing his life.
He reached mumbai after 4 hrs
He ran straight to unnati nd devgarh family who were pacing back n
forth in the lounge of the hospital
"dada" hugged unnati
"wheres manyata,hows she??" asked UV
"ahh mr. Singh ..we need to talk"said doc
UV followed her to her cabin
"mrs.fernandez, i've already agreed for the operation,then why are u
delaying it" asked UV
"mr.singh the matter here is about two lives,and mrs .singh dnt seems
too well to go through an premature delivery ,right knw operation is
not the solution ,she already knew about the complication she may
face"said doc
"wat complications?? Last visit u said everything was perfectly fine"asked UV
"well mr.singh ,mrs.singh had complications frm the start, i've warned
her about this ..but she was adamant to keep this pregnancy"stated doc
"U could hav talked to me doctor" snapped UV in anger
"mrs.singh asked me to keep this confidential,but i need to let to
know things.. This pregnancy was a major risk to mrs.singh frm the
start ..i've asked her to abort the foetus ,she was adamant keep this
pregnancy,in the first trimester u've never accompanied mrs.singh to
any of the check up ,stating u were abroad,but wen i actually
understood she has been keeping it a secret frm u guys..tym passed and
we couldnt abort foetus in the second trimester,that was dangerous to
both of them ..and then she asked to keep her complications
confidential nd never let any of family to knw about it ..reasoning it
as royal secret nd royals would never want ppl to knw about queen
complications.but with every passing day her complications increased
she has fluctuating BP,gestational diabetes and weak uterus.m sorry to
say mr.singh we cannot save any of the life,foetus heartbeat is
sinking as well"said the doctor
"i want my wife safe and sound ..nd dats not foetus u are addressing
as it my baby ..my wife's desire,prayers nd life"shouted UV loosing
his temper nd pain
"mr.singh ..we will try our best but we cannot assure u anything..u
need to sign these paper ..stating you hold all the responsibility to
both the lives" said doc passing him few declaration papers
UV zoned out taking the papers in his hands ..does dis mean he is
letting his manyata go?
Can life play such an ugly game with him ..just hours ago he was the
most happiest man..within seconds his wrld turned upside down.
He was snapped out to reality wen he felt giriraj nd briraj standing behind him
He helplessly looked at both the men
UV signed the declaration form with a heavy heart nd walked out
lifelessly to manyata
who was in immense pain,she looked pale like her surroundings
"u..udayyy"she screamed out in pain
He ran to her side held her hand tight in his as if he was holding her
in his life
"i..m..sorry..for give me"tears ran down both their eyes

"s..sh.shh princess i will let nothing happen to u ..u will always be

Just then doctors nd nurses pushed him out of the room with the help
of security coz uday wouldnt leave manyatas side

Uday sat alone his thoughts drifted to the day wen manyata annouced
she was pregnant
It was their 5 wedding anniversary,manyata was always sad after her
first miscarriage 4 yr ago ..frm dat day she has been feeling sorry
,coz she couldnt give both the riyasat their heir,his child,wen she
knew how much he loved children
Dat day she was happy ,happy to announce she was pregnanat ..
I was little shocked ..i wudnt want my wife go through the same trauma
gain..and how she told him she was over 3 mnths pregnant nd der was no
fear dis ..dis tym she will not let their child leave them,and how
excited she was about the baby she always wanted a boy who would be my
replica ..and i always wanted a daughter who will be her
replica..everyday she would come with a funny,uncommon name for their
baby ..munni,laddo,golgappa,barfi,yes ..foods topped her list of names
..she was always on toes to do any wrk ..and never fail to tell me
how much she loved me
His chains of thoughts broke wen komal interrupted him

"lamba safar humari manyata tayy kar rahi ..zindagi aur maut k
darmiyan ..hum toh yahan sirf thaire huwe hai" replied UV

being in labor for 19 hrs docs finally came out and announced..manyat
gave birth to little baby girl
" manyata ??" asked UV
"she lost a lots of blood" replied doc
UV ran to the room
She looked paler then ever,she looked as pale as snow,eyes tired and closed
He sat beside her holding her hand tight he caressed her face
"princess" his voice came as whisper
"mmm" she tried to open her eyes
"wake up ..see our angel arrived" said UV his voice breaking
"u...ud..ay..."
"ye..yess princess m here"
Nurse gave the baby after cleaning,UV held the baby in his hands
"princess our daughter" UV brought baby close to manyata
Manyata caressed her hand on baby head
she smiled and felt unconcious
He woke up nd realised he was asleep ,he still held her hand in
his..room was dark,this irritated UV
"wats wrong with this hospital ..wer u cant even afford to put proper
lights nd propercolors to wall" shouted UV at the nurse
unnati jumped out of her seat from across the hall, rush over to UV
after apologizing to the bewildered nurse and everyone who wwre around
"dada, for heaven's sake! Stop making a public spectacle of
yourself!" she chided as she pushed him bck into the room.
"choti, can't you see this" he said gesturing around ,
"Does this look like a happy mothers room? What? No? Now go get the
freakening electrician to fix this freaking hell hole!" he shouted.
"dada!"
"manyata hates Dark and depressing rooms! Why the hell do you think
she's refusing to wake up," I span
around and looked around the room
"see that dark blue wall, who even does that! I mean look at that
finish...are you seeing this manyata?" he asked wide eyed.
"udayveer..." he heard DS calling him but he didn't budge
he smiled at manyata and rushed to her side. "Can you believe this
manyata, their putting..."
"uday beta..."
"WHAT!" he snapped, tears streaming down his face,
"she isn't going to die," he cried, "She's not leaving me... not
again... not again" he said in pain .he turned back to manyata, his
eyes pleading, "manyata...plzz...dnt leave me again...don't go
away...please." he cried and rested his head by her hand as he began
to cry... Cry the tears he should have
cried when she was lost the first time.

Uday held manyata hand nd baby
"ah.ahy.ana..ahyana"murmured manyata
UV looked at manyata tears brimming his eyes
"name her ahyana..it means unconditional love...she my unconditional love"
"princess dnt leave us we need u .."he pleaded
"u are going to be good father...hero for our ahyana"
"no princess dnt do dis...doctorrr..unnatiii"he called out nd held
her hand tighter
"u promised me ...promised me to be with me forever"

She kissed baby forehead,and back of his hand

single tear rolled down her eye
Everything went silent time came to a standstill
His eyes bored into her eyes
Baby let out a shrill cry
Unnati ,komal ,DS came running to UV's side
Unnzie took baby frm him
His grip was tighten around herhand his fanger entwined tight with hers
"u..day beta"DS patted his shoulders
"she gave up on US,she gave up on our daughter,she gave up on me" he
said,his wrds dipped in venom
He left the room

"how could i be ahyana's hero wen ..i couldnt save her mother?? Wat do
i tell her ..her mother didnt trust me enough to share her fear?"he
asked her
"uday u did enough to save me ..u just couldnt accept i left u..but
trust me ..im here with u in ur and ahyana's smile,ur
heartbeat,ahyana's growing years..always with u" she smiled at him
"dnt leave me princess..i cant live without u"
he looked up as he noticed her rise to her feet,
"What? Where are you going?" he asked panicky, trying to grab her hand
but it went right through. he looked at
his hand in shock and then looked up to her, she was fading...his
manyata was fading. He stared at her for a moment then felt a small
smile on his face.
"So your finally leaving aren't you?" he asked.
"I am supposed to once you have realize ,you hav to let me go,if u
want me with u forever" She smiled as she began to become more
transparent by the second.
"After all, I am just a shadow of your memories..." Where the last
words she said before she finally dispensed into the air. By then he
was already out the door. And ran to ahyanas room
Held her close to her heart and kissed her forehead ..my
"ahyana"..tears escaped his eyes.
