Not entirely mate!!..Deepika is Prakash Padukone's daughter...Prakash Padukone is a badminton champion based in Bangalore,he has a number of Badminton academies in the city..His wife Ujjala is a prominent socialite in the Bangalore party circle...Deepika was a bit of a star even before her debut as a model....She studied at Sophia High School and Mount Carmel College,the two most hep,hifi and popular educational institutions in Bangalore..She was the cynosure of the eye at all parties,she was flooded with modelling offers,she didn't really have to strive hard to become a successful model....She definitely had excellent contacts which would have helped her in her modelling career...😊...It's surprising she now says in interviews that she had no plans of becoming an actress,because I know for a fact she always wanted to be one,from high school days😊...I believe in college she was touted to be a big star,following Lara Dutta and Vasundhara Das,both alumni of Mount Carmel College..The mantra Carmelites used to chant was "Lara,Vasundhara and now Deepika"....

Exactly!! While Sonam did not even want to be an actress, Deepika had it all ready and planned for her. Going by what SLB says, Sonam was 90 kgs while she assisted him on Black and did not ever think of becoming an actress. SLB saw something promising in her and then, she reduced all that extra kgs. 😃

@Vidya Balan: To start off as Radhika in Hum Paanch, who played an almost deaf, geeky girl and then to make a stunning debut in Parineeta, the girl deserves a pat on the back👏! She definitely struggled and we are all glad to have such a talented actress amongst Hindi film industry today!😊

Saawariya seems like Dev(das) Ja vu all over again with mystical OTT sets and tragic love story.

Haven't really paid attention to songs from either movie but from what I read , probably will like Saawariya music better.

Since I have lost interest in movies lately , not really looking forward to either until after the reviews.
