Well, Im kinda looking forward to Saawariya than OSO 😃 I had fallen in love with Monty for his bg scores in Devdas and when I saw that he is the music director for Saawariya, I was like 🤔 But the songs are beautiful, indeed for those who appreciate music on different level but a few of those sound like compilations of bg scores instead of songs I loved "Thode Badmaash" a lot and a few others. But I have a feeling, listening to them on a system will not match the magnanimous effect they will have on viewers after watching them on the screen, with those huge sets and vintage Bhansali playing with shades, colours, expressions and your heart. Ranbir is cutie cutie 😛 and haven't seen much of Sonam as of yet so dont know. Heard its his version of 'White Nights' written by Fyodor Dostoevsky...so we are expecting a tragedy again, more tissues and tears 😭

OSO looks like another commercial blockbuster again, songs are nice but got nothing to look forward to from this one. Especially SRK, jeez he looks like a skeleton now, wonder what happened to him in these few months. He has lost his fat to gain some muscle and now it looks like a skeleton is taking its shirt off to show....well...the skeleton!! 😕🤔 Some people shud just figure out when to quit doing such flicks and get into some CDI kinda stuff now, common you are growing old and its showing!😕 Deepika looks nice and thats about it I guess.

But as everyone said, OSO might just come out the winner ...cus after Khamoshi bombed at the box office....I've nothing more to say 😕

Good example Sohn!

Even though intellectually bless people like us (😳) would prefer movies like Khamoshi, the movies that win are the likes of Main Hoon Na.

Mujhe Saawariya ka music OSO se jyada achha lagaa. About the movies I think laws of averages may catch up with SRK and Saawariya may turn out to be a surprise winner. 😆

Sod it!!🤢 🤢..Why the heck is SLB suck a sucker for tragedies....WHY😡...How could he have the heart to not let Ranbir and Sonam(their characters) walk off into the sunset together....I reckon I'll carry a box of Kleenex with me to the theatre,I'll be in floods of tears if something horrible happens in the denouement.....Oh,I hope none of them die!!

PS...Could anyone please tell me what "Saawariya" means??

Savariya is a word used in hindi songs, meaning lover. in fact, it is derived from savara, which means dark coloured. it refers to hindu epic mahabharata. while krishna, the hero of the epic was dark skinned (though handsome), radha, his beloved was fair skinned. so krishna was called savariya. now the women folk in mathura vrindavan area and in some other parts of northern india refer to their husband or lovers as savariya. it is in hindi language.

Music-wise, Saawariya is very situational - I can tell, just by listening to the lyrics and the tracks. I liked OSO better in terms of music.

Plot-wise, OSO sounds typical and hackneyed. But, the reincarnation element is always a powerful tool. It can make the worst stories into something tolerable. If done well, Farah Khan will have a hit on her hands.

Saawariya is based on Fyodor Dostoevsky's White Nights. Its a very unique story and I am curious to see if he keeps the ending the same. If Indianized properly, it will have moderate box office success and critical acclaim.

Interesting. In White Nights its the girl who is described as "dark".

definitly OSO for me....I hate saawriya......

I hate when star Sons/Daughters get all the hype just bcz their parents r in the industry🤢......and they easily get breaks...and I dont think that'll be a GREAT love story , could be present in a defferent way may be ppl will like it bcz of both Kapoors.Waise bhi till today except "Kaho na pyar hai" I didnt like a single lauching love story of any Star child...actually in the try to present them tooo good and unusual , story ka stayanaash ho jaata hai....hope SLB ne yeh na kiya ho

I prefer Deepika more than these two newcomers, where ever she is bcz of her own

So for me only OSO😃

okay, my sweet friend vikram asked me long ago if I prefer sawariya / OSO and I had no clue what he meant! ❓
i looked for the info and picked Saawariya. After the last episode of SRGMP, I am dead sure i will steer clear of SRK in OSO. His new 6 pack and a starving shrimp face 🤢 is ruining it for me 😭. I may watch Saawariya some day.
