They should teach the parents of retirement options, so their dependance on sons is reduced, or perhaps the daughters can help(not just talk 😆 ) in that aspect 😉

then we can stop complaining about Parents favoritism of sons

till then all this constitutes to is "Why is his Laddu bigger than mine" 😉 😆

I agree with you.
I hope that women (financially independent, not dependents themselves) who were provided everything by their parents do bear parents' responsibility equally and if they don't, then shame on them / their husbands who won't stand by them.

Dad is a girl's best friend for life and if he acts like it and does not discriminate against her, I am sure he'll find the best friend and support in her for life too! 😳

^^^ i dont think the problem is with the girl, the problem is with the mindset, many familys think they shouldnt be depending on girls support remember the famous movie dialogue, beti is ghar ko wapas kabhi mud ke bhi mat dekhna when they get married 😆 😆 😆

Oh yeah!

Teri doli is ghar se uthi thi aur ab teri asthi hi yahan wapis aa sakti hai...

I mean, WTH!!! Even is some girls want to go all out for her parents in older age, they think it is wrong to rely on the girls and lament about not having a son. 🤢🤢

will this mindset change, not sure. For my girl, no change in raising her, will get all that a boy will get, good education too and will be independent. But back in my mind I do have a feel that one day she will get married and will live her life. Ofcourse boys will too but donot know why I still feel specially attached more to her on that basis...i know shame 😳 on me 😭 😭

for carryin Vansh name in US a girl can give her maiden name to her child. In India also thsi option should be made available. Ofcouser how many of us remember our family tree 😆

This reminds me a dialouge of Paresh Rawal...hum kya dinasour ki aakhiri nsal hain jo vansh khatam ho jayega 😆 😆
