Ok. I am the third daughter of my parents. I have no brother. When I was born after 12 years, my father was over-joyed on seeing me. My sisters made long lists for naming me 😳 , my mom spent thousands on my room decorations 😳 my father flooded me with toys 😳 😳 . They held a party soon after my mom came from hospital 😳 .

Now there was this acquitance who saw me and then said "Oh how sad! Is baar baeta hota to kya jaata" [ 🤢 ] Then my parents shifted to Pakistan for my sister's education. There mom met with a common one liner "Ohh.. Baeta nahin hai. Tsk tsk. How sad" 🤢

IMO, the mindset of our society is inflexible. We are educated enough to earn good money and intellectual talk but ignorant enough for not using it in practical life. I term it as "Greatest Tragedy of 21st century"

Will post more later...Iftar time!! 😳

and hypocricy at best is TUT TUTTING our ex-lady prime minister and current lady president to show other countries down.. AS IF 😉.. that really means anything..

What I always feel .. for men to keep a woman is showing a kind of strength over others ..but to have a daughter who eventually be taken away by another man is some how not so desirable .

I know. I love my daughter and that thought makes me😭😭😭. I am going to be one of those mothers who drops in unannounced at daughter's house pretending to help and never leave😆.😳

I cringe when I hear dialogues like 'ladki ke ghar ka pani peena haraam hai'. Sad that our top serials endorse such views.

All over the world primary preference is for at least one child of each sex and sons are preferred as first-born children. I read somewhere that boys are consistently favored over girls, given the hypothetical one-child-only limit, though the strength of that preference has waxed and waned over the years.

Having said that , a second or third girl child can obviously be dissapointing to some, however parents generally overcome the dissapointment sooner or later. It is what it is and history and genes might have something to do it with it. Can't blame parents for wanting their child to have the best life possible , boys/men usually end up having better life then girls/women although the world is changing and is not quiet there in terms of equality between the sexes. Also the carrying of name and lineage / legacy has been attributed to boys and I am amazed at Ambani sons, AB jr , Hrithik roshan, Sunny/bobby deol, Saif ali khan to name a few able to successfully carry their parents legacies then their sisters could with the exception of Kajol, kareena and karishma who come from all girls family.

Very practical views👏👏👏
But the thing is people need to accept the things as they are...somany thing in life are like Trail and error methods...nothing is in our hands..completely..only to some extent we can have control on the things..rest all is some randomness..or divinity....or divine randomness...but sure might have some purpose....however..ONE can be HAPPY WHEN THEY ENJOY THE LIFE AS IT COMES...as EACH ONE IS UNIQUE and WE ARE IN THIS WORLD FOR SOME UNIQUE PURPOSE😊..rest all is insignificant..

The problem I think Female itself feel/want to be like a male,i dont know why!! 😳 ,Males always try to protect women, and all know females are emotionaly stroger than males,If we check In hinduism have lot female goddess other than any religion cos they believe women is "Prakriti" "Maya" and "Shakti" and Giving birth to a baby the most amazing thing in the world and the most precious thing,As myth said b4 we are in this world for some unique purpose....

Again probably the same reason. Shweta was married off earlier to a rich, well-settled family whereas Abhishek got all the chance in the world to prove himself. Dharmendra launched his son Sunny in a huge way whereas he married off his two daughters to well-settled people in US. Dhirubhai left no will and under HUF law the property rights are equally shared by wife and sons but not married daughters😕. Also same with his daughters' case, married them off.
