there are laws in a democracy regards abuse, if someone chooses not to utilize them, not the society's problem.

In a civilized society, what happens inside a household is the responsibility of that household, there are laws to prevent abuse, if someone chooses not to report abuse, it is their problem, may it be a man or a woman.

1. It is true that most of the problem occur because of poor anger management of batterers?

We cannot predict!! May be that person's wife keeps on harassing him continuosly,may be that person's wife does'nt hear his words,may be that person's wife may be harassing his parents!! Its their private affair! Women these days are not that innocent that they sit in a corner and cry even if the husband beats her! They beat the husband 10 times more and again comeout side and cry as if they don't know anything!!

However,battery is a mean act!

Yeah !! most of the time women provoke to do so!! This is found more in educated folks than uneducated folks!!

Is it true that battered women could stop battering by changing their own behavior?

It is upto the woman to decide if the fellow who battered her is worthy person or not! If the person is good ,then its wise to modify her ways according to her partner! This is not degrading her ego or self esteem but taking right decision about her life!!
