IMO, it is first the responsibility of that person to get themselves out of the situation, that person is generally an adult, understands what is wrong and what is right

I as a citizen, I respect the privacy of their household, so that forbids me from reaching out, if they want to reach out to me and ask for help I certainly will and that is my boundary and feel should be the boundary of every person who is not a part of the household.

Your posts always give some thinking material😊... I agree with you on mater of privacy of household ..... but I have another question in my mind .......

Violent criminals who assault strangers ..for them we tend to take different action.... (I am not talking about back home where calling police or involving in some one else's fight is itself a problem ..) Here in N.America if we can't help the party in trouble we usually call police .. even if it is not our concern atleast we think of saving some one from seriouse injuries or death. How come it become different in case of husband-wife rift?

If woman beating man as in your eg. first it is highly unlikely that man gets seriouse injuries forget about his death which is rare...and sorry to say other men usually enjoy this situation still I would say it should be stopped if possible by others ... if they are shouting and their voices are reaching your house they are already crossing their limits to unkay ghar ki baaat kahan ghar ki baat rahgai ?..

In the other case women tend to get not only serious injuries but can die as a result of this assualt ..So don't you think people should interfere for the safetly of the person ,either husband or wife as a human .....?

as for my friend's example .... if people could take her to the hospital after her husband left her all injured on road ... they could've stoped him going that far before?

Why they don't make complain is entirely a different issue and a bit complex one atleast I think like that ..😊

sorry I dont beleive in exception in the law based weaker/stronger sex

remember we talk about equality between men and women, this supposed addendums to our books in ancient times landed the women into the current situation

now the laws have equal protection, we shouldnt be repeating the same mistakes all over again
