Even fairy tales have villains - stepmothers/sisters, evil witches, wicked fairies, distances, obstacles. The protagonists of these fairy tales have to work pretty hard to get their "happily-ever-after". Maybe, those mentioned above are metaphors for the obstacles in real life and by showing us how they are tackled, the fairy tales are telling us what life is about???
awww nice post SJB...And yah i like the way u put it, tht they r metaphors 4 things in real life, dunno if fairy tales tell us wht life is at, but at least they show tht even Prince Charming...has to work to get his girl, and isnt so easy. Like fables have a moral to the story, so yes they can be used in real life too as examples😊
Yuuups true fairy tales do hav these mean ppl, and yess usualy Prince Charming Kills them or removes the obstacles😳😳😉 to reach his Princess😆 first ....but life isn't so simple to remove these obstacles in real life.... otherwise every guy wuld have killed his Mother -in-law agess ago..😳😆 and vice-versa😉 kiddin.
Wish however obstacles can be tackled as easy as cutting down a forrest of trees😳 so people would not have to give up someone they truly love down to certain reasons, like these 'bad ppl' like in fairy tales😉
