Is love always a Fairy tale?

Life itself is not a smooth ride there are bumpy patches, infact some patches have to have craters.

So meeting love of the life ensures a fairy tale? or love life is not a fairy tale or typical MB story but something that requires constant effort in making things work out?

Well, meeting the love of ones life can be a fairy tale... 😛

but after that it requires constant effort, understanding, committment on both the parties involved.

If there is no opposition to the match then it can be somewhat fairy tale like but still have to work on the relationship aspect.

And if there is an opposition to the match then get ready for the bumpy ride.... 😆 As long as both of them have love, faith, committment, trust among themselves, both can make it like a fairy tale ending. 😊

When you are working on a marraige it may not seem like a fairy tale...but when you look back on the years where you worked hard to keep it going and the happiness that it resulted in...they certainly seem like a fairy tale

so are you guys trying to say that marriage is always a rocky experience and requires effort to keep it going? cannot it happen that couples can have same understanding and choice, i watched this movie honeymoon travels where abhay deol and his wife always have same choice, they do everything similar, it seemed like a fairy tale, but then i thought what a boring marriage

Life is bumpy for all, and bumpier for some.

Love of one's life is something one must fight for with all their might. However, there is something called destiny and you are right- fairy tale endings are not for all..
IMO, whatever ended probably was not love of each other's life after all, although it seemed that way 😊

Love never ends. It changes forms and intensity. One must never quit on their loving heart. One doesn't after all need to live a fairy tale life to be happy 😳 😳. Love is not a fairy tale, but a realistic human emotion. Movies and stories have glorified it and exaggerated it but the fact is it is a simple human emotion and some time or another in life you find yourself attracted to someone.

However, an easy love story with dancing around trees is a love story. Tales of Prince charming, perfect husband/wife, the one and only one etc are sugar coated fairy tales deviating away from the real stuff. If you believe in such fairy tales and wait for the perfect one to arrive, or lament over losing the one and only one then you will be letting precious moments go to waste.

Love requires work. It does not come in a ready made package. When two people are willing to work together, face the challenges, make sacrifices and learn through the process then these two individuals have a good chance to make their love a truly cherished one.

When you find someone you are attracted to take time for love. Attraction may be instantaneous real love takes time. You should not only be physically attracted to the person but mentally attracted to them to. Someone you find engaging with whom you can converse for hours. Remember your life partner is not a piece of art you store to stare at, you actually interact with them so the dynamics apart from physical attraction are essential.

Finally to answer the question about like minded people or different people. Both the following statements are true.

There has to be a blend of the two which depends on the two individuals involved. You need to have some similar interests or similar level of thinking so you can do things together and do not constantly conflict, yet you need to be different so you complement and contrast each other, have something unique about you and can learn from differences.
