friends ,do you think falling in love with more than one person as sin?

suppose a girl has a happy married life and loves her husband very much.still she falls in love with another person. although she does not indulge in to anything offensive with this person.she is still loving her husband as before but side by side she feels something special for this new person also. can she love two persons at a time ,staying with her husband forever and loving him as before and side by side feeling special for the another person without having anything physical with him?do you consider it a sin?

please make your comments. i will give my ones later.😊

its hard to say because in some religions/ cultures or what have you they say that even looking at another man in a lovey dovey way whilst married(deep down feelings) you have already crossed the boundary of adultery and committed a sin.

although love is a pure emotion it can be converted into lust but you also have no control over your emotions so i guess in these modern times (as we are not living in biblical age) its not too much of a sin as long as nothing physical happens but try and stick to one person even emotionally as love for another could lead to dangerous events. One must learn to control his/hers feelings and show loyalty only to 1 (family is diff)

i think there are different kinds of love, different degrees of love. if she loves her husband and falls for another, then i'd guess that her love for her husband is somehow different from what she feels for the new guy, if not qualitatively then in terms of intensity. she might have affection and caring for her husband, essential ingredients for love, but probably what she has for the new lucky fella is romantic love? possible, no?

also, i dont think she necessarily has to get physical to feel the warm tender blushes of romance. being physical wld "help" but then there are many other ways to spark that lil fire including "ankhon ankhon mein" 😉

personally, i wldn't consider it sinful. sin is too strong a word for me. in any case, i'm probably the wrong guy to be holding sessions on being a good guy😛

i still believe that love is the matter of heart but staying in love is something my mind decides.

and this decision is based on my experiences with my partner. if i am content in every way i expect to be, then there is no logical reason why my mind should long for anything else unless it wants to try taking a plunge into a dry lake and risk losing even what i have.

but if it is otherwise then we are compelled to drink the tap water and long for the spring or may decide to quit the tap option for the spring.

this maybe a simplistic view of things.... yes real life has shades of grey .... yes many people would like to try the dry lake just for fun.... but for me if my heart can accomodate more than one person, then one of the relationships is definitely a burden and difficult to shake off....

May be one more question...are you in turn willing to be one of the many or even two lovers of some of your lovers?

Wellsaid👏

However you might want to keep it that way he wouldnt want to keep it that way remember...😆 The better approach would be put a rakhi on him and endorse the purity... then you can feel special for him rest of your life... just dont fantacize - that would constitute a form of incest....😆 and then you will burn in hell
