Of course they do! What is a ghost? A ghost is merely the spirit or aatmaa of a once living person. So yes, ghosts do exist.

it is a hypothetical question ...it comes under our own superstitions ..and those who compares god and devil ..i can say it was not good ..god is also something we didn't saw nor gods are also said to superstitious for some ...we did pray god just for our support and belief to make our mind relax and fresh ..hmm all will say just spilt out ur problem u will feel relaxed ..but to whom ?? might it can be god as imaginary supporter to us ...if something happen we thank god that thank god is nothing but comes under a word miracle nor luck ..so nor god nor evil everything is own imagination according to our mind but it has its own names as luck unlucky ..might be luck was god and unlucky was evil that is it i can say

I currently do not believe that ghosts exist.

My mother tells me good souls are allowed to depart but bad souls stay back on earth to complete their penance - my question is who decides what is good or bad? There is no standard metric. Heck, we don't even have any unified religion? So how is this good soul or bad soul being judged? Who is doing the judging?

Coming to the point of possession and all. I feel that this is also logically not possible. History tells us that in most cases of possession, it's actually just a mental disorder that is exacerbated by superstition, fear and bad treatment by society.

All this being said, I'm not so arrogant as to presume proof can never be found. Knowledge is limitless and I'm sure if they do exist - proof will come out eventually. VERIFIABLE PROOF, not causal accounts that cannot be investigated.
