Btw, please don't make 'reserve' posts. Not sure why you guys reserve your spots in a thread, but it's unnecessary and not desirable in a debate thread as it distracts from the discussion at hand.

not only that, it is useless as many arguments and counter arguments that could be posted by the time the person who reserved the spot gets free enough to post his views. It makes more sense to post at the end of the thread than to insert it somewhere in the earlier pages which no one may turn back to read.

From what I have read about the case and talked with people it is quite hard to believe that the parents were the ones guilty of murder and watching the movie just makes my doubts stronger.

MISCARRIAGE OF JUSTICE...
The whole concept is based on events told by people who where at home sleeping if going by their words...you don't kill people without any motive...you get the motive you get the killer...simple as that and CBI got the motive but were unable to gather the evidence hence were favoring for closure of case as it was hard to prove...

what i have seen and talked with well know people... i do feel it was an act committed by her parents...

nothing more to say...

if the parent killed her in a fit of rage - thats extenuating circumstances enough for them to go scott free..or with lesser punishment. unless there is premeditated attempt..which isnt there -. they could have gotten away on this honor killing as crime of passion...

The parents are the ones who did it, the servants could not have carried such a perfect murder that too when drunk.
Also if they were guilty, they would have fled or confessed which they didn't , narco tests were inconclusive, also aarushis body was covered up and crime scene altered , the book she was reading didn't have any blood spatters , her things were kept there later on

All of the servants had alibis,

Don't go by the movie, it's fiction, read the full report and the evidence presented, it clearly points to the parents, it's impossible for them to not wake up when 2 people are murdered in ur house, one just a few feet away and one dragged upstairs.

Think about it

Funny how I was in the middle of the movie yesterday when I saw your topic. Now that I am done with the movie, I agree with ya. It seemed like an open and shut case if investigation was done properly at one go without flipping teams and evidence multiple times. Why did it seem like some sorta conspiracy?

I mean firstly, honor killing does happen. But these people were highly educated folks. And it's hard to digest parents killing their only child.

Secondly, like it was mentioned, if she had a BF, why the heck would she want to sleep with someone old and that too their domestic help. This theory is hard to digest.

Lastly, if parents killed her, why would dad bring the murder weapon to the police if he's guilty? And once the case was closed by CBI, why would they appeal further to get justice for their daughter?

Now I don't know all the details of the murder case. Simply going by the movie and whatever I read on Wiki. So my assumptions could be wrong based on how movie tilted towards the parents. But it's still hard to digest parents killing their only child.

And it sucks ball how much this little girl's integrity keeps getting butchered even now. Also sucks if parents are not guilty and having to suffer the epically long torture. Siggghhh.

You said it all

Do parents have any other reason to kill except honour killing? And, they have no proof to prove that it was honour killing? This story was cooked by a policeman because it was really easy thing to assume, and there was lots of pressure from media coz this case got maximum footage.

Coming to murder weapon, dental instructions or surgerical instruments can cut only layer of the skin, doctors confirmed it that slit was really deep and it's not possible to make it with any dental instrument. Doctors confirmed it must be khukri when servants were not even in picture.

Having said that, not giving clean chit to parents. But, parents are in favor of every investigation, why would they favor further investigation if they were the murderers?

Why out of blue second CBI team was appointed? And, why did second CBI team completely ignored the servants angle? Servants have completely described the procedure of murders in Nacro test, and parents shown no sign of their involvement in murder. They said Nacro tests have no value, if tests have no value then why did they conducted same useless tests on parents. Obviously, Nacro test can't be presented as a proof in court, such tests are conducted to decide direction of investigation.

Not to forget, khukri with blood spot and pillow cover of hemraj with blood spot were found in room of servant krushna. They completely ignored khukri and very smartly they converted a pillow cover into typographical error.

They have no answer on how did parents manage to drag the body of servant from Room to terrace without leaving any blood spot or DNA? To bring down body of Hemraj from terrace, 4 policemen were required, how on earth an asthma patient and a woman manage to drag same body on terrace? Where are finger print reports of bottles and glasses which were found in room of Hemraj?

At last, I would like to say I have a reason to believe that agl Kaul helped his friend to get promotion. After cooking up story of Hemraj-Aarushi sexual relations without any evidence, that sardar policeman got lots of flak from public and parents. He was transferred and his promotion was stopped. Proving theory of his friend right in court, he helped his friend to get promotion. Irfan rightly said kabhie kabhie mere dil me khayal aata Hain, Ek dost dusre dost ki izzat bachata Hain.

And, what was the motive of murder? They were desperate to kill their only child because they wanted to know how does it feel after killing your own child? Every damn person has failed to prove this honour killing concept. No blood spot, no dna, nothing of Hemjar was found in room of Aarushi. No sign of Helper was found in Room of Aarushi. It won't be wrong if I say Hemraj didn't enter in the room at all. So, Father saw her daughter having sex with whom? Books, toys or pillow? Nothing wrong with private parts of girl was found.

Or it was pre planned murder ?

As I have said this earlier, they are doctors, not cobblers. They know basic maths that 4-2=2. If there are 4 people in house and 2 get murdered, then blame would come on remaining 2.

People who were sleeping have not blamed anyone. They had never pointed fingers at servants becoz they were sleeping and they had no idea. They asked for the Nacro test reports of servants, but CBI refused to give them.

Perfect murder? Said who? Murderers were dumb ass who left the evidence on each and every step. Visky bottle in hall, palm print on terrace, Empty bottles and glasses in room of helper, shoes print on terrace. That what we call perfect murder? If Noida police were little sensible, this was an open and shut case.

Also if they were guilty, they would have fled or confessed which they didn't , narco tests were inconclusive, also aarushis body was covered up and crime scene altered , the book she was reading didn't have any blood spatters , her things were kept there later on

@bold- why this benefit of doubt only for servants? Why not for parents? Servents, who had no relation with girl would have confessed if they were guilty, but parents wouldn't confess after killing their own blood and flesh? Why?

How nacro test results were inconclusive? Parents didnt show any involvement in murders and servants described the entire process. Nacro tests are not conducted to reach on any conclusion, nacro tests are just for direction of investigation.

Even if crime scene was altered then who said that only parents can alter? Things were kept there later, they were not kept on proper place. Anyone could do that. Keeping things is just 5 mins job, not 5 hours. Why would parents put blanket on girl after killing if they wanted to prove that an outsider killed their daughter?

If book had no blood mark then there was no blood mark on cloths of parents too. It was confirmed by photos clicked by Aarushi before going to bed, parents were in same cloths in photos, even driver confirmed that he last saw them in same cloth in which they were found in morning. Big question is not how did they save the book from blood? Big question is they killed 2 people and not even single drop of blood was not there on clothes. How?

All of the servants had alibis,

And, who decided that their alibis were right? Do you expect them to say yes, we killed them, please hang us? And, what about khukri and pillow cover with blood mark found in room of servent? From where did it come?

Don't go by the movie, it's fiction, read the full report and the evidence presented, it clearly points to the parents, it's impossible for them to not wake up when 2 people are murdered in ur house, one just a few feet away and one dragged upstairs.

If they had dared to make fictional movie in the name of real event, indian judicial system would have filled many cases on producer and director for presenting entire judicial system in bad light. Its not cake walk to make a fiction movie calling it a movie based on real incident. Its confirmed by First CBI office Arun kumar that movie was very much based on fact. Sound tests was conducted by them and he saif that when he cannot hear anything when he was awake, it is very much possible that paarents didnt hear coz they were sleeping.

Which evidence? Didnt they file closer report just becoz there was no evidence? If they had evidence, they would hanged both people. There is no evidence. Yes, there are evidence with CBI like bottles, glasses, part of palm print they found on terrace but they refusing to do any kind of finger print test or send them to some lab for further investigation.

There are 2 different reports. One made by first CBI team and another made by second CBI team. According to first CBI team servants are murderer and according to second CBI team Parents are murderers. I would go with first team, they started investigation when case was fresh and secon team joined when nothing was left.

And, how could anyone drag a dead body on terrace without leaving any blood mark or DNA? He was killed on terrace.

Think about it

What to think? According to report of CBI, father killed them, and mother helped her husband. If this was the case then why would Rajesh Talwar spare his wife who was an eye witness? There was no guarantee that Nupur Talwar would keep quiet at morning? If he can kill 2 people then why not third one?

eDIT- Author Avirook sen has attained all trial and he has said that trials were not fair. Or even his book was based on fiction?

Not saying spare parents but investigate the case keeping everyone in mind. First of all only 4 people were there theory is bullshit. If only 4 people were there, then who was drinking in room of servant?

May her soul rest in peace.

But, I want to know about those evidence which landed them in jail for entire life? As per my knowledge there was no such strong evidence.
