Sarina, you never got back to me on the train thingy I explained above along with Mal's presence in all of Cobb's dreams.

Another debating point could be whether it was Cobb's wife who was right all along and that she was able to return to reality by taking that leap of faith and killing herself.

For us to debate, we will have to take one position or the other. Or, we can screw the debate and just ponder over all possible interpretations:)

That is the problem. You definitely are no fun to discuss movies with. You break it down into this and that and aim to create a debate of it. For example your intent to debate the falling of the totem is taking away from the infinite possibilities of interpretations. You just cannot do that with movies like Donnie Darko or Inception. It gets boring when you limit it to one possibility. I prefer discussing these with what ifs and see what other probabilities people come up with.

I did read the big bold red underline before you highlighted it like some II troll would. 😛

The reason for that post. You did not sound like you were inclined to discuss probabilities. It seemed your preference was towards debating only.

Besides, you just don't seem nerd enough. For some reason movie discussions get so much more interesting when you have some really nerdy person. Nerds have different wired brains. You wont fit in that category unless you have waited in line for 3+ hours for some movie. 😆

Like we could all be in the Matrix.

Or the world was created 10 seconds ago and everything that we know and remember is an implanted memory.

the fact that there is nothing solid in the physical universe that can't be further broken down, makes me suspect whether this could all be real. look closely enough using the right instruments and it all disappears. the question "what is it" will always materialize into nothing, if you drill down enough.

sorry for infringing on the movie discussion, you guys go ahead with whatever you are talking about.
