I sent such a big PM on heaven and you did not even acknowledge it. 😛 Nah other than that you never ignore me, except when I bring up evil babies.
Now lets get back to God...did you see my post on God being in everything?

Knowing Labib, that is probably what he wants to get at. Why does contemporary creationist belief of God, make it appear that God demands worship of us.
Example
Deuteronomy 5:9 (King James Version)
Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me,
Why would God say that? Why would anyone consider a God who is humanly jealous and fickle superior?

Ajnu and Googly, without delving deep into it...
#4 - Implies that God exists. He is, however, incompetent without, say, a Heaven to hypothetically stay, and angles to hypothetically assist him during his hypothetical jobs. He is incompetent (or so it seems) without the cosmos, human beings, and various lifeforms that inhabit the earth, and also other distant planets (well, possibly). So, in this scenario, it is being assumed that a God requires us to keep on existing for his own existence, i.e. there is a positive connection between our existence and God's existence. Now why - we don't know that yet. It could be that we are extremely small but significant part of the supreme Being. Maybe not physically (and I'd rather hope not physically), but personally, I do believe that the whole universe (including lives) is connected to a supreme consciousness, that we can call God. Maybe spiritually, or through-souls, we ALL (we human beings, the universe, God) are inter-connected.
#5 - Implies that a God actually does not exist. He is a invention of the human mind, or rather, more accurately, the invention of a group of people. As such, the question had been reversed; instead of asking 'Why did God create us', it is being asked that 'Why did we create God' (the latter, whether true or not, is pretty easy to answer, btw).
Okies--this is a speculatory topic, and here's a speculation from my side.Originally posted by: PhoeniXof_Hades
Assuming there is a God (whether you believe in such an entity or not is irrelevant) - why do you think He created us, and the rest of the universe? Could God, or the everlasting, omnipotent entity, not stay alone in his own world? What's the point of creating any form of sentient life, or life in general, or the cosmos, or even angels to assist him[self] in the Heaven (or wherever He stays)? Was He simply showing off his power and supremacy? Was he bored? Did He want to test us? Did He want to test His own power? Also, why would He require us to remember Him and worship Him? Will He cease to exist if everyone of us forget [about] his existence?
*He = God / Creator.

There's a hierarchy , which in the ascending order would be something like- Level 1, 2, ....Man, God, Supergod/god of gods,...further levels. Talking about the level of man and the level above it - of god.
->
Some billion years back, a task was given to gods by the "supergod" to create their separate universes and the one who created the best universe would graduate to the supergod level. One god decided to include man in his universe. Seeing that he was doomed for failure, and since all his fellow friend gods used to make fun of him for including such a ridiculous species in his universe, he felt low on confidence. So , he decided to boost himself and used to say " I am the best maan lo, baat ye jaan lo" everyday to himself but it didn't help much. Eventually ,he decided to ask his creations to worship him and talk about him as having some supreme qualities. ---All just some innovative morale boosting technique , you know !

Yeah yeah , sure.Originally posted by: mind-googling
😆
Actually, it's a win-win situation. Worshipping him and stuff like are morale-boosting techniques for both, god and man ('humans' for feminists 😳).
😛
But hey, shhh- God does exist, we have not invented him .😛
