Why did God create us? And ask us to worship him?

Assuming there is a God (whether you believe in such an entity or not is irrelevant) - why do you think He created us, and the rest of the universe? Could God, or the everlasting, omnipotent entity, not stay alone in his own world? What's the point of creating any form of sentient life, or life in general, or the cosmos, or even angels to assist him[self] in the Heaven (or wherever He stays)? Was He simply showing off his power and supremacy? Was he bored? Did He want to test us? Did He want to test His own power? Also, why would He require us to remember Him and worship Him? Will He cease to exist if everyone of us forget [about] his existence?

*He = God / Creator.

It is hard for me to explain this, because I do not believe in a literal creator God in this sense. Either way none of these reasons.

My mind is the only thing I am sure exists. I have no clue why I am imagining any of you so vividly, and what purpose you serve in my imagination. No one really seems to act the way I want them too. But for now this is what my mind is manifesting and the world will have to deal with it.

Thats Bcoz each one has a mind of their own & may in turn not be sure if your mind exists 😃
BTW do I need to exist next week ? what does your mind say ...stop imagining so vividly & I might just disappear ! 😉 😆

This is true. The only thing that I can be sure about is my own existence. That's something I can never doubt. Other than that, anything else that exists - or I assume exists - can very well be the product of my imagination.

how about we turn this on you and make you god? i don't want conventional, frivolous replies (like what you want to do when you become god, how you want to "enjoy" etc). say you are god. you are there and the universe is not. what next?

^^ @ Angie: Well, of course, if something does not exist in reality...and yet we talk about it...then that means that nonexistent thing must be the product of ones (or a group's) imagination, right? 😕
