I absolutely disagree about that. What did he do about Hurricane Katrina and the victims? He had been getting reports but he simply thought to ignore it.

I recommend this book to everyone - "Bad President" - Read it if you have some time, it's not just funny but it provides facts along all the humor which proves the point of the humor. If you read it, you'll know why I am against Mr. Bush.

I understand your debate, but we must give some credit to America for bringing itself to what it is today. Except Bush completely ruined all that...😡
I understand your debate...but America isn't so bad at all, other than Bush...Sorry I don't like Bush at all! But America became the power country by earning itself up, and we should atleast give credit to that...
But I am full INDIAN supporter😃
that's what i don't like why everyone hypes America so much, if we commoners stop thinking of the U.S as a world power i am sure the media will also stop.

"When America is sick the rest of the world catches colds" so is this a good thing or a bad thing. Why should one country suffer from what America does? If we stop regarding this notion, I am sure America will longer affect other countries.

If media keeps giving America so much importance by saying how their house market is or stocks are, or their political system then it is bound to take a toll on other countries. Indian newspapers have headlines about American economy and how it will affect India, but if we don't give so much importance to it, people wouldn't care and it wouldn't affect their lives.

I am saying all of this because i live in Canada and all i see on news is American economy. In this way there is a image or a perception created in the public's mind that america is everything and if something goes wrong there same will happen here and people stop making investments and start selling stocks enen though their might be nothing wrong in their own country.

About America being the world power, it will not be entitled to that title in next 10 or 15 years or so. There were so many world powers before U.S and they all fell one by one and so will US.

Very well said! I can't say any more than agree. What America says and does DOES affect THE world. And not 100 per cent negatively either. I think America is framed as the big bad guy, of only 75 per cent being accurate.

I personally am glad that Bush bids good bye. America needs a change. I don't know how effective Obama will be-but he'll be a fresh breath of air to us. Kinda livind the american dream-if you look at it that way :D.

Well major world powers - are suffering as of US economy, we are suffering in uk too. Can understand @red bold - but again - see they are affecting the wolrd whether they like it or not, u cant stop newpaper, n tv news etc so therefore they are affecting the world. Also forget america, looking at own country is in bad shape - so then u do read why etc n again its them thats the root.
I very much doub the USA wont be world power- why did other world powers before US Collapse. ok i dont know enough about other world powers only Uk as world Power.
Uk as world power owned it all, it was the USA of the early 1900's and before then. Why it collapses. Its major involvement in World Wars. The wars crippled UK, USA took over after WW2 as world Power as they pretty much remained isolationist country. Before then as of UKs empire - it owned it all.....so again seeing that of UK....i again doubt that USA will fall...seeing as its fighting wars and not been crippled like world wars which i doubt we would see anything like what happened before.

For me he more or less did the job he was supposed to do. I expect my government to do anything within its power to ensure my security. Folks that voted him to power fully knew his ideology, he stayed true to that, when he thought the nation was going to be harmed he sidestepped his ideology and made some decisions that he wont normally take.
He has his faults and every human has them. I am sad to see him go
