I get it. I do. Kasam se. But yahaan pe the case is slightly different. Because Punit and Shakti always stay away from each other. They don't know they have shippers. And hence they won't try too hard for us. Both of them are introverts. So they won't consciously lead us along and then hurt our feelings.

And I just want her to find love. The fact that Punit has been her friend for the longest time and that THEY ARE HOT TOGETHER is definitely a bonus. But Kasam se Shakti drives me crazy. That girl is so bloody secretive. She does not even throw a bone to her fans. Anything to keep us going. But naa. I am pretty sure I will get to know she is married a week after it happening. She is exactly the sort of girl who would probably have a civil ceremony. The girl wears sneakers with her dresses, for goodness sake.

Punit and Shakti are a league of their own. I will agree with you on this. Because where other couples might have acted up because they had the fan spotlight on them and thus had to live up to their expectations. Punit and Shakti are doing everything possible to maintain a conscious distance from each other. Which is why I don't feel anything between them is manufactured.
And that kinda puts me at ease.
I was (maybe am) a crazy Arsha shipper. But... Yeah I learned a lesson there. Not to ship couples who have fan expectations resting on their shoulders and who are aware that they have shippers. Because then consciously or unconsciously they try to live up to the the expectations of fans and shippers and that ruins them. Just ruins them. Because then they try to appease us. And feed us fuel so that we would remain on a shipper high. And keep rooting for them. Whereas in real life, they have nothing real going on behind the screens. And that is them basically making a fool out of us and playing with our feelings.

Sorry for ranting.. I just had to let it all out. Shakti, I love that girl because atleast from her side she never went out of her way to make us believe there is something happening between her and someone. But the guy... I am still pissed at the way he lead us all along on a merry dance, making us believe there is something Iwhere there was nothing. I know there are many of my fellow shippers who won't agree with me and that's okay. But I am wiser and I know manufactured chemistry when I see it now.

Couldn't have agreed more.

I was bitter and i still am a bit.

and I learnt my lesson :) very welll and moved on too
but jitni bhi try karun mai Shakti se move on nhn karpaye
because she is genuine and never fake abt anything unlike some one
honestly I really adore the bond punit Shakti share
I love them and their bond

But me, Sarah and KD, our shipper hearts were broken into tiny little pieces. And to think that I kept wondering why Shakti is so reserved while he is making an effort. Now I love her for being so reserved.

She is adorable and genuine and that is what is important. Honestly I don't mind fangirling over here. Afterall, there are worse celebrities out there one can fangirl over. Atleast we picked someone who is here because of her talent and hard work.

We were crazy back then, i was crazy back then.

But i am no longer 16 and hopfully wiser now.

But even her friends from the industry thought she was dating him, we were not the only fools.🤢

Coming back to the discussion at hand, don't you guys think Punit and Shakti make a conscious effort to stay away from each other. Like if you observe her with Raghav and Dharmesh, she is completely bindaas. She casually puts her arms around them. But Punit and Shakti are always on their guard in front of the camera. I have never seen Punit casually put his arms around Shakti. With Mouni and Lauren, he always has an arm flung over their shoulders. But with Shakti, he is so self aware.

And that is what made me suspicious in the first place.

That casual air of friendship and being comfortable in each other's presence (which should logically be there after like 12 years of friendship) is missing. (Like Ronmione and Harry Hermione. Hermione wasn't aware of Harry like a man. But she was aware of Ron. *sigh* My Ronmione. WAIT. I am going off track)

There is tension there. They are super aware of each other. He is not casual around here.

One more thing. I have noticed this so often. Punit always clasps his arms behind his back around Shakti and she does the same. Like they are making a conscious effort not to touch each other. Come to think of it, I have never even seen them hug. That awkwardness they have would not have been there had they been "Just friends". That is sexual tension right there. Awareness of each other. Eee.

I am so glad to be shipping after so long.
