Ignore the typos
Endor aNew Beginning ???
He made his habit to regularly visit Asad, still waiting for his forgiveness.But Asad wasn't the only one person whose forgiveness he was seeking for.He looked around trying to find any trace of her but the absence of fresh flowers on his grave made it very clear that she haven't been here yet.That was another reason for his regular visits.
Almost every time he would catch glimpse of her or find her lingering there.But alas there wasn't an effort made by both of them to talk.For the first month She even refused to acknowledge his presence there.But things gradually changed from a small eye contact to frequent nods of acknowledgement.Its been only a few days since she has been returning to his all frequent smiles that he gave her while passing by.
His spirits have been high since then and finally decided to talk it off with her.
"Hey brother"
Adarsh muttered as placed few flowers there, admiring the two green plants that began to grow on Asad's grave.Suddenly a set of footsteps caught his ears instantly letting him know that she is finally here.
"Wish me luck"
Adarsh murmered to Asad as he walked away from his grave.
Swadheenta entered the cemetery passing a small smile at Adarsh's way as he walked off.She was really touched by his gesture and was almost ready to forgive him.She was still waiting for Asad's permission.She wasn't bitter about it anymore but merely resentful.Trust was still a issue.Her anger gradually faded and was replaced by a longing that was settled into her chest.
All her grief,bitterness every single negative emotion that once resided in her heart was overcome by the love that Adarsh showed for her.
She walked out of the cemetery only to see him patiently waiting for her.He looked nervous,tapping a finger on his wrist.
"Hey"
He softly said and advanced towards her slowly fearing as if she would run away.She didn't responded him by words but offered him a smile.It was his chance to speak.
"How you've been?"
Not gaining a response from her he continued speaking.
"I was wrong ,very wrong to not to trust you and I was blinded by my own grief to even acknowledge yours.These months gave me time to sort out my priorities and helped me get out of the mess that i single handedly created but one thing that remained same was my love for you"
Openly admitting his emotions was never his forte yet he was.His voice was raw and cracked on the end,it was much more difficult than he thought.He exactly knew what Swadheenta must have felt when he refused to listen her.
"But love is not everything,Adarsh."
Swadheenta spoke for the first time in all these months.He was literally dying to listen to her voice.Her soft voice soothed the continuous heaviness that he felt.Not waiting for his comment she continued.
"Love is just a beginning but trust and responsibility are the reality and aftermaths of love. We learned it hard way.Lack of trust makes us insecure and i never ever wanted to feel like that again.Doubting myself or thinking maybe I am not good enough--"
"No, you are way too good for me.I never wanted you to feel that way
Adarsh cut her off.He felt resentful and maybe angry too afterall he was the reason for all her troubles.
"I am sorry and i am waiting for his forgiveness too"
Adarsh pointed at Asad's grave.
"I know and i have accepted that.Seeing you here everyday and my heart to heart with Asad helped me to overcome my fears and anger"
She truthfully said.Listening to Adarsh talking about Asad made her more confident.He had said all she ever wanted to listen.
"Time never waits for anyone.Today we are here but we may not be tomorrow.I don't want waste even a single second of my life without you.I want to spent my life with you before we are lost with time"
He spoke in single breath.She knew it was truth and somehow they already have wasted their precious time in misunderstanding.
She nodded toward him and within a single beat he pulled her to his chest.Burying his face into her hair as she listened to his fast heartbeat.
"To our new beginning"
She ever so softly murmered,looping her hands through his neck.
"To make up the lost time"
He pulled her even close then she was before, embracing her
Yeah that was it!!!! Hope i haven't disappointed you all.
Although i can never ever fully justify the character of SwaDarsh.They are way too beautiful and I am not that accomplished to justify them.
