completely agree with you Shruthi. So many beautiful symbolisms. I laughed at the high class society's high handedness and loved how clean hearted Swadarsh are. Beautiful indeed

Poor adarsh was given left, right and center for being spineless but I think confusion, obligations and expectations are holding him back. it is easy to judge but there is no worse feeling than suffocating under the decisions imposed by others. he deserves a lot of compassion and I think he is handling everything with a certain kind of grace.
While others were busy cursing adarsh, I was cursing suhasini and her royal highness. Classism is one of my biggest pet peeves, and food can never be "below" anyone. swadheenta so earnestly offered them food, it wouldn't kill them to try it. Adarsh may have kept quiet but his actions spoke louder than words- he made his choice in front of all and he ate the idli so swadheenta does not feel bad, I thought that was so sweet. People blames him for not saying anything but his eyes speak volumes, if suhasini refuses to acknowledge that, than whose fault is it? what she is doing to her son is nothing short of torture.

Suhasini is one shrewd lady, there was no reason to bring Adarsh and princess but she did to make a point in front swadheenta. well, if she is smart as I think she is, then she should know by now that swadheenta has no feelings for her son- it is all from adarsh's side. now she will push this marriage more and vanshikha will stay in her dream world. also, this vanshika is really annoying. she is perfect for sinha khandaan but not adarsh, he deserves someone better, like freedom😃

Shruthi, the things that you called out for which Adarsh stood up are exactly the ones I was referring to.
From where I see Adarsh, he is a mature man takes every step with a lot of thought to the impact that it will have on his family. He has seen Abhay's rash actions and the effect is has had on the family and he doesn't want to put his mother through the same ordeal.

As to what about his own feelings/love, with Swa not showing any interest in him, he knows that he can't really be with Swa because she is not interested and so will eventually have to marry someone - and that someone would never be able to hold the same place in his heart as Swa. So it doesn't matter whether it is Vanshika or someone else. And knowing him, he would accept it and learn to live with it without the kind of resentment and anger that Jaidev has towards Jaya. Adarsh, while younger to Jaidev, is more mature when it comes to relationships.

And while this may not exactly be the ideal situation for Vanshika, I can't help but say that she has brought it upon herself. She has been deluding herself for the past 11 years that Adarsh loves her! If she can assume idle chit-chat/friendly conversations as love, then there can't be much hope for her! Again, Adarsh being the kind of reserved person her is, I'm sure would never have said or done anything that would have egged her on.

P.S: I guess I got confused about Vanshika's name and assumed it to mean something else. My bad! But you have again come up with interesting symbolisms for it too. :)

@shru as always bang on analysis..😊 perfect symbolism..😳.. actually it reminded me of start episodes where adarsh told mujhe freeedom dilane aayi ho.. for him being with swa is a breathe of fresh air where you have no class , no status , you respect humans as humans and not distinguish between them on the basis of status , class , financial stability , looks etc.. he can live a normal life by enjoying happiness which we get from doing small things.. 😳
this shows how much he is enjoying her company..😊
yes shru its about how a middle class or poor girl traps a rich guy.. but the reality is he wanted to enjoy the life like swa..
aam zindagi , we learn a lot of things when we live the life of a common man . we see happiness in small things , small memories which we can't share or do being in rich class or porshe class.. its a different feeling altogether..😳

Thanks Moon for clarifying. @sarcy agree to you. If he marries vanshika he will adapt to living with her unlike Jai who completely ignores Jaya. But Vanshika as a woman will never be satisfied. She is like Simmi and will need a Joru ka Ghulam hubby Abhay not a man who cares about everything like Adarsh. Adarsh is a type of a man who will be there for you when you need most, but will not pamper you for all your whims and fancies. Suhasini is destroying Adarsh's life by bringing a girl like Vanshika. Unfortunately many parents do that. Adarsh and Vanshika's values don't match and it will never match.
@pomegranate our epics say food offered lovingly has to be taken. When Ram didn't had any problem taking the food tasted by Sabari, Krishna didn't had problems taking the food bought by Kuchela or taking the last leaf from Draupadi's Akshyapatra who is Vanshika and Suhasini to show dis respect to food. Showing dis respect to food is disrespecting Mata Annapoorneswari herself who is the symbol of wealth and prosperity.

@Gayatri when they showed dosa, I was feeling like I should go to Pai's Dosa Camp in Cochin and have crispy dosas with vadas 😃. I have been to high profile parties. Yes they are at a different level where you need to keep your poise and should have some pretense, but places like the one where Swa went you can let your hair loose and enjoy.

if adarsh marries vanshika, he would still ignore her like he does now but he won't be rude like Jaidev. I don't support Jaidev's behaviour towards jaya but now I kind of understand, being stuck in a loveless marriage for 4 years must be suffocating. he could have spoken up but suhasini must have pushed it.

@pomegranate Jaidev-Jaya is Suhasini's failure, failure as a woman as a mother. Unconsummated marriage for 4 years. Jaidev has rejected Jaya in everyway Suhasini's choice. I am not sure when it will come up. But it will open up for sure. Jaya will be asked to visit doctor since they are not having kids and a doctor will be able to tell whether marriage consummated or not in one check up
