Stumped Suhasini. Beautiful Swadarsh symbolisms

Today I liked the way Suhasini was stumped. Her discomfort at the roadside eatery was pretty much visible.
But she couldn't do much. Poor Swa. She doesn't understand the hypocrite ways of the high class society yet. For her Suhasini who upholds law will not have any class difference. But the fact is that Suhasini very much has the class difference. I somehow feel what she wanted to do was show indirectly Swa, Adarsh's fiance so that Swa stay from Adarsh or she will drop any idea of pursuing Adarsh. Like all high class society moms do. It is after all the girl who is trying to latch on to a rich boy. But I loved the way Swa reacted. She was cool, calm, congratulated and appreciated Vanshika. But the person who stumped Suhasini completely was Adarsh. Both the ladies indirectly insulted Swa, the food she bought. Because it didn't fit their high class society standards. But Adarsh insults both of them when he takes the food and eats it. Yes Suhasini managed to drag Adarsh away. But not before he has eaten the food. Suhasini is trying her best to ensure Vanshika- Adarsh marriage happens, but her son will ensure one way or the other she herself will give him what he wants. idly sambhar hi sahi 😆😆
And the other Swadarsh symbolism. Well Swa put haldi on Adarsh and Adarsh put haldi on Swa. I don't have to tell what place Haldi holds in Indian marriage rituals. Haldi is done for both bride and groom and it is because of each other. So today it was shown symbolically haldi was going to happen to them because of each other.
Now Mangalsutra. Swa takes it. Adarsh says it is Suhaag ki Nisaani. She keeps that in his hand and tells go and give it your fiance. A mangalsutra doesn't becomes suhaag ki nishaani if a woman puts it on herself, which most probably Swa would have done.
Swa giving it to Adarsh means it has to come to her the right way if it has to become Suhaag ki Nishaani. He has to tie it around her neck after taking the 7 vows. And finally Adarsh looking Swa through the mangal sutra. Arrey yaar he has made her his wife, ab fiance kya kare, kya naa kare doesn't matter. Mangalsutra is not for the fiance anyways, it is for that woman who has become your wife after taking 7 vows 😃

Right on post again:)
You write really well.

Loved Haldi & Mangalsutra symbolism. It's strength of this show, how softly they add these hints.
Be it this, or dialogue at dhaba before starting the mission- where Swadheenta joins Adarsh & he asks mera saath dogi? And she says yes.

Suhasini set this lunch meet up. Class difference came up after this unexpected visit to Sawdheenta's choice. But choice difference also came up once her beta started happily eating Swa's choice. Loved Adarsh's expressions when he saw Swadheenta there!

Principles and freedom are going in tandem atm, and Vanshika is just what her name sugests: Belings to Royal Vansh & can contribute nothing more to Adarsh other than carry on Sinha Vansh:/
I donot have sympathy for her anymore.

Oh, and loved 'perfect' at dhaba: perfect case, perfect solution!

Thank you for your appreciation. It really helps me to write more
@spdp it's time Suhasini understands it is not always her choice. I am happy unlike Jaidev, Adarsh does show his difference of opinion when he gets the right situation 😆😆

Shruthi each post of yours on symbolism makes me watch the episode again to fathom the symbolism in the light of your post.
Whatever may have been the reason for inviting the couple to join rather than revealing anything to Freedom i thought it revealed positions to Suhasini and Vanshika . While they go all out to look down on Freedom, right from the moment he sees her at the counter till the longing glance as he sees her sit and eat by herself i guess it was apparent where his heart lies. He has been visualising her in clothes he chooses and she states point blank she prefers her choice over what others choice. Again symbolic of the difference between them. She explains what her life perspectives and focal points are. The way his face falls every time HRH is introduced or re is reminded what is intended ...one sees the forlorn look return.
The way he sees her through the chain again reiterates the pangs he feels...how he says its easy for Pyare mohan to be all protective and romantic to win her over the going is not easy for Adarsh . He has to peel of his layers...they share a comfort and understanding which i think surpasses the bonds that bind any of the couples in the show. They are partners on a mission...accomplices in their role play...he is there to salvage the situation when she is pushed to a crisis.
The Haldi...sasta connotation...all making one dreamy another faces it nonchalantly.

@moon I didn't quite get HRH. But I love the way you analyzed the present. Yes his present doesn't look like he will get the wish. But I was looking at his wish when he sees her through the mangalsutra.
See it is his wish not desire. That is where Adarsh and Vanshika differs. Adarsh is Vanshika's desire. Look at the apparent way she behaves with him as if she has him. He is hers and she will control him. Adarsh is bound by obligations.
Whereas Adarsh wishes. In all his interactions with Swa he wish she understands what he feels about her. He loves her non chalant, non imposing ways. It is like Swa has her choice, so she understands others also has choice. She doesn't interfere or impose her choices. And for Adarsh who is getting suffocating in an environment which is more pretense than actual she comes as a whiff of fresh air. There is no pretense about Swa when it come to relations, which unfortunately is absent in Sinha family.

Shruthi, I love the symbolisms you have brought forth in your post! My favourite scene from the epi yesterday was when Adarsh looked at Swa through the mangalsutra.

The wish and desire comparison that you did between Adarsh and Vanshika is also spot on. Your post brings out so much positivity, I absolutely loved it.

To me, Adarsh is not spineless for not standing up to his mother and saying that he doesn't want to marry Vanshika. For him, it's all happening too fast to think and, not to forget, he holds his mother in high regard. Plus, I have seen him stand up for many other things to know that a spineless person would never be able to do that.

P.S: I love the way the characters of Adarsh, Swadheenta and Vanshika are named. Now I'm waiting to see what will be the name of Swa's fiance and how true to his character would it be. :)

Thanks Sarcy. Adarsh is not spineless. But he is a man who cares. Cares for everyone. There is no pretense about him. I had loved the way he stood up with his father even hearing from him that he is a loser.
Also dearly loved how he tried to patch up between Simmi and Suhasini. How many guys do that. And as a professional it takes a lot of courage not to go for an international summit and choose to give speech to students. And to go behind a case which normally IAS officers wont take. See he came personally because of Swa, but even other wise as an officer Adarsh had taken the case asking his deputy Sooraj to go.
And Suhasini as a mother should have never done what she did to Adarsh. He should have been given space. Space to think than directly dump this girl Vanshika in front of him.
Vanshika means flute I am still not sure why that name. Does it has any significance. Because flute is an instrument that needs to be played and what comes out of it depends on who plays it.
So does this means there will come a point in Vanshika's life where she will listen to Adarsh and go against her family, or she will be played by her family for their benefit.
Flute gives beautiful music only in Krishna's hand 😃
