Intention achey hotey hain in beginning but by end itnaaa extreme position ke letey hain … AOC ko dekho … isliye to party struggles - they have forgotten their primary jobs is good governance and legislation - sorry to say but Republicans are extremely effective in pushing thru their objectives. Right or wrong policy is a different matter but they get their stuff done … like Supreme Court justices last term …

u know all social workers start with good intentions, with dreams of doing good, making the world a better place, world peace and all such lofty ideas. In n ideal world such dreams r great. But sadly world isn’t ideal. Its all about power struggle and survival of the fittest.
When social work mixes with power and popularity it gives a different kind of high. Its like a drug. People know u, recognise u, give u importance. Log aapke aaspaas ghumte hai, aapse kaam nikalwana chaahte hai..this recognition, this power corrupts the mind. And u finally leave behind the ones for whom and with whom u started out.
It takes a special kind of discipline and self control to not fall in this trap. There was a KBC winner, Sushil, who talked about this. There is one more whatsapp forward circulating, its about n elderly person who ignored his family for this social work and public life and he kept going deep into this. Regretting now.
all these r small examples ..while Obama was the President of the most powerful country in the world. Even if u trust his intentions u would never know how deep the mess is
