Is my understanding correct?

There were notable contemporaries who defeated Aurangzeb at different points of time in different ways ~ Ahoms, Marathas, Rajputs, Sikhs and Veerashaivas, all of which flourished and fell during that time. But they are never actually glorified in any ICSE/CBSC/SSC textbooks or even for UPSC and other examinations, and liberties were taken to only mention the wars they lost to the Mughals, though they add 'great' in front of their names to compensate the innumerable sacrifices in one line smiley24

The journey to the Partition was actually a roller-coaster and more layered, it started off as a demand by the Muslim elites/All India Muslim League (AIML) for a separate electorate for Muslims (agreed to in the Lucknow Pact), then the two state theory in 1920, with two sovereign sub-entities with right to secede, no forced conversions, under a single 'United India' entity, then when the AIML did well in Muslim minority regions, but failed in Muslim majority regions in 1930s like Punjab and Bengal, Indian National Congress (INC) asked them to share power in return for dissolving as an religious entity and acting as an all India party, as religion was secondary in its manifesto. Till this time, they were fine with a predominantly Hindu rashtra with the 1/3 electorate as long as they get their respective states to govern independently, but this demand increased the fear that Muslim minorities will not have a voice in the 'New India', and led to the AIML Lahore resolution in 1940, which stated that regions where Muslims were numerically in the majority as in the north-western and eastern zones of India should be grouped to constitute autonomous and sovereign states, governed by a single religious entity.

The rejection of INC on the Cabinet Mission plan and the insistence of AIML's Direct Action Day in 1946 resulted in horrific ethnic cleansing riots. This ended any dreams of coalition and coexistence of the two parties for a united India. Though the Partition was accepted by the political parties in June 1947, there was no official confirmation on the areas demarcated to each side made to the public till 17 August 1947, hence post the first announcement, riots erupted in many regions, extremism was on its rise, and mass migration started to areas deemed 'safe'. Till the 1950s, basically the situation was horrible and most of the elites who had wanted the Partition were long gone, leaving a long standing impact on the common man, who is still not able to come out of the black shadows, and gets agitated at nationalism as it might essentially discredit their rights in the country their ancestors chose to stay in.

I hope they actually talk about the fraud the Waqt board does and does not side-track to appease.

In short in India

Waqt Board is a Muslim board that snatches the land of Indians, The worst is if they claim any land you can't even go to court against it. Ordinary citizens to Temples they have taken everything under them as they please.

The so-called prosecuted minority (which they aren't) have the 2nd highest land in India under it. Only Railways have more land than them.

Can you imagine even Defence has less land than them?

Read more about this, which no one has a problem with smiley8.

This act needs to be taken back sabse pehle
